I have never tried smoking either It makes me laugh though, there was an advert I briefly heard the other day and it said something along the lines of, "Children with parents who smoke are likely to take it up too." Which in my opinion is a load of rubbish. Both of my parents smoke and my grandparents smoked too, but me and my brother wouldn't dare touch one as we really don't like it.
But as I've said before, it's their own choice and I've been brought up with everyone smoking around me and that doesn't bother me. x

im like the totally opposite, i've been brought up with smoking being completely frowned upon and yet i smoke quite alot so i think your right, it totally is your own choice.

im kinda against it but i will possibly try it *one day* i agree with what nearly everyone has said and basically it is their own choice so what! bill and tom smoke i have no problem with it *except the smell* but its nothing to be so 'omg' over my friend has cousins in germany and nearly everyone in her cousins class *she's 13* has smoked germany for smoking *apparently* isn't frowned upon as much as we do (this is all apparently and coming from the my friend which i dont know whether to believe)

I don't really like smoking, but I don't mind too much if other people smoke. I used to be worse about it and completely cover my face when people near me smoked. but I'm not that bad anymore.

I personally don't like smoking, but I respect that i it's something people want to do, it's their choice. What I really don't like though is when people blow smoke at you on purpose. Oh, and the smell of stale smoke. Eugh! But I don't really mind if people do it. One of my friends parents smoke, but I think that their house smells nice because of it...or is that just me being weird?

I accept that it's people's choices, but it does sadden me when someone smokes. Ony today, in Science, I was writing a list of th effects of smoking: -High Blood Pessure >Heart attacks, oxygen cut off at limbs (amputation needed) -Throat Cancer -Gum Caner -Lip Cancer -Mouth Cancer -Bladder Cancer -Kidney Cancer -Pancreas Cancer -Cervix Cancer -Stomach Cancer -Larynx Cancer -Lung Cancer -Emphysema -Chronic Bronchitis -Cattaracts -Short term- Dizziness, nausea, watery eyes, headaches, nervousness, agitation, less concentration, messed up sleeping patterns -Hyperacidity -Hair loss, hearing loss, weakened senses (smell and tate) -Wrinkling -Shortness of breath -Chronic coughing -Stained skin and teeth -More frequent coughs and colds -Difficulty reviving from minor illnesses -Impotence and Infertility -Pneumonia -Emphysema -Stomach Ulcers -Peripheral Vascular Disease -Weaker muscles -And lots of other stuff written in my Science book that I can't remember. Without smoking, there wouldn't be half of the cosmetics that there are today
