ooops didn't read that properly.
what i look for in a forum: people that will start talking immeidately, friendly. people who will help you out, stuff to do, and a forum where you can say what you feel and not get judged.
i feel welcomed when: i get compliments, that really makes my day (:

What I look for in a forum or any type of social-network, is people who like to keep in contact and have a small chat with you.
Such as, your a newcomer. You know nobody here, and you'd like somebody to start chatting with you to get you more invloved, and make you feel that you have someone there for you. Basically a way to make you feel less scared.
That worked for me, and look how many friends I have here! ITS GROWIN'! ;D
The worst thing is to come to a forum knowing nobody, and saying things when nobody answers you and carries on with what they were talking about with their 'group'.

Completey agree with what Kim just said. Also another thing i dont like is reaaaaally long threads cos it you never know what to say bcos you feel like everything has already been said ^.^

I have noticed that the forum seems to be controlled by the more frequent posters.
Maybe we could have a mini forum just for newbies, not just a thread. =P Just a thought.

The problem with that Kraig is that it just encourages the divide even further. What we want is for newer members to find it easy to interact with the older members. This is why making the new members welcome and comfortable is so important ;D
