This does not replace the Myspace profile, which is where ALL news, announcements, competitions, activities, etc, will continue to be posted.

Edit: Since October 2008 THUKST has got its very own website where you can find e.g. lots of information about the band, articles (including almost everything that has ever been featured in UK print and online media), music videos and the THUKST including our past activities/projects and the unforgettable THUKST interview. There's also news updates on the front page. Enjoy! ;D

The primary goal of the UK Street Team is to have fun! But the Street Team is also a community that shares a passion for Tokio Hotel and their music, and channels their passion into supporting the band's promotion in the UK.

The Tokio Hotel fan community is wonderfully diverse and dedicated. We'd like to see everyone get involved and have fun supporting the band!

Some questions you may have:

• Does this mean the UK Street Team is moving from Myspace?
  
  No. See above.
  
  
• Do I have to be from the UK to get involved?
  
  No. Out of necessity, some fan projects are for UK members only. An example would be a fan meet-up. However, many of our activities are for ALL fans, including the new fan book. Please PLEASE get involved in that one!
  
  
• Can you help me with my fan project/action/street team?
  
  No. Unfortunately, I only have time for the UK street team projects as it is very time consuming. However, I encourage you to talk to other fans and street teamers and get ideas and opinions from them. They're just as useful!
  
  
• Can you give me contact details for TH management/the band/David Jost/etc?
  
  No. Sorry, I am not at liberty to disclose any information on TH management. I DO NOT have the band's contact details (I wish!). Please do not ask.
  
  
• I want to help! What can I do?
  
  Check out the projects and get involved! There will be a number of major projects running at any one time. We need assistance with all of these so please come and offer your thoughts and opinions. In addition to the major projects, I urge you to continue to get involved in the smaller ones that are posted on the Official UK Street Team profile.

could anyone please help me. i'm having trouble posting images. does the image need to be a specific format/size or am i just doing something totally wrong?

All images need to be online first, so upload them to photobucket/tinypic.
The put the url (web address) of the image between this code Then it should work, its always better if you can make the images smaller, as this helps pages to load quicker!

You upload the pic first, e.g. use photobucket. This will give you an image code for the pic which you copy and paste in here (your "post reply" field) where you highlight it to put the image code around. To do so you simply click on the insert image button which is the one with the little pic on it (second row, fourth from left, between insert ftp link and insert email). Hope that helps. If you can`t work it out just ask again. ;D

Just upload your avatar to e.g. photobucket, then go to your profile, choose "modify profile" and put the full http:// url in the field for "Avatar URL". That should work.
