On the main Forum page, down a column on the left is pictures of folders (beside each section). These folders either have a grey or blue dot on them. What are they?

Ok, folder = thread blue dot = new posts inside grey dot = no new posts

Thanks for going to the trouble of looking for an answer There's just these little details that I don't like not understanding I may find the folder icons useful then...

ooh mines behind too :L i shall have to change that BUT ANYWAY how do i upload videos into a post? like so it shows up like a picture kind of.. if you get what i mean.

You can only do this with youtube videos by using the youtube tag. Either highlight the url and click the little youtube button from the "Add tags" selection above or put the tags around the url manually. It's [youtube] and the same again with / before "youtube" in between the brackets to close it.
