I hate itunes with a burning passion.. the whole "america only" stuff "annoys me".. This song is awesome though .. yet i've only just heard it.. and I remember In your shadow was played at the concert, and I hadn't heard that 'til then either :S how come they don't just release all the "extra" songs they make? i'm still missing 1000 meere/oceans and 1 or 2 others since they're not on the cds >.>, i don't get it oh, and Attention.. thanks YT

yay! a down on you thread! so, um, yeah....does anyone know the actual official lyrics to this song? because i've heard the chorus part so many different ways, and some people's versions on the lyrics are ridiculous, but other make more sense than what i'm hearing when i listen to it. xD so yeah, if anyone can help, that'd be aaaawesome (:

I think the more interesting debate would be as to what we all think the lyrics are! Poor Bill... he tries so hard but every now and then, he mumbles and his accent gets in the way.

That's a good summary. It's kind of frustrating yet amusing and also part of the charm of English TH songs, I think. It's a bit adorable.
Well, I'm really glad I'm not the only one that doesn't understand all of the lyrics. ;D That's actually the only thing that frustrates me about English TH songs.... that I need parts of the lyrics written down to actually understand them.
Down to You is pretty bad in that respect. I think it's the song I struggle with to understand the most. I like the song though. Mainly the chorus but out of the two I really love Attention and would've loved for it to be on all the album versions.
I also find it annoying when songs only get released in one country but unfortunately that has often been the case. Just look at all the bonus songs that bands put on their CD releases in e.g. Japan.
1000 Meere was a b-side of An deiner Seite so that's the only way to get it on CD.

Word of warning - NEVER listen to Tokio Hotel late at night with your headphones quietly playing in your ears. The things you mishear... I swear to God, I nearly broke a rib trying not to laugh so much. My own personal favourites are "do me, you'll be forever sacred" and "we heft a goat a thousand oceans, why?" I agree though, Down On You is one that has so many people confused. I think it's the chorus that has the most people muddled. One site says it's - "I get down on you, get down on you Blessing Kisses Waiting I get down on you, get down on you Cold room, wishes Fading Run Until Your Arms Drop Dreams, Fits a Point of View I Get DOWN, DOWN, DOWN to Get up on You I Get DOWN ON YOU, Get Down On You" - whereas another lists the fourth line as 'stolen wishes fading' and another 'foreign wishes fading.' I know someone who said it was 'don't let kisses fade in.' Also that 'run into your arms' line is a bit muffled. It could be "run<i>ning to</i>" or "run <i>into</i>"... and then some sites say it's actually "Running to your rockstar dreams, it's a point of view." *shrugs* The major confusion continues!! Going on what the song's actually ABOUT doesn't help either as the lines we're most confused about are metaphoric imagry, so really, all of the above suggestions could feasibly be correct!! What does anyone else here think those lines could be? I remember there was also a bit of confusion over what a line in Attention was, although I think the general consensus is that it's "it's more than calm, and my own brother can see" (I thought the line was initially "It's more than cum and my own brother can see" ) I love Down on You. 1000 Meere's also one of my favourites, bonus tracks are always worth tracking down. But yeah, annoying too that you have to trawl around to find them as you're sometimes not even aware of their existance.

Rofl! So true... the things you can mishear when your not paying too much attention or even when you're trying really hard. Gosh, we've had such a fun time trying to understand the lyrics for Automatic, DSTOTS and Love and Death. It was almost unreal how difficult it was to get right. Even when whe thought we got it, it still wasn't right. I'm still singing "All the weapons in your hand and no control". (DSOTS) Just because I thought that's what it was and I like it better, actually.

Oh, the major confusion with this part is great. It really is such a tough one! It actually really frustrates me when I can't understand Tokio Hotel. That's not how it's supposed to be. *lol*
I saw some of the discussion for that one as well and I actually think this is the right line: "It's more becoming my own blood, why can't you see." Oh Bill. ;D

And on another site it said the lyrics were:
"I get down on you, get down on you, Blessed Kisses Waiting. I get down on you, get down on you, Foreign wishes fading"
... who knows!

This is what i've heard the lyrics to the chorus are. I doubt they're 100% correct though. I've put some of my own opinions in as well. I get down on you, Get down on you, Blessed kisses waiting (Though i saw some that said 'raining' here - i'm pretty convinced it's 'waiting' but who knows?) I get down on you, Get down on you, Don't let wishes fade in (Though sometimes i seem to hear 'Golden wishes fading' - but i think that's just me!) Run into your abstract dreams, (i read this on another forum and it's a possibility) It's a point of view, I'D GO down, down, down to get up on you, I get down on you, Get down on you. Let me know what you think xx

Oh if he does then that makes my entire night. Though I suppose 'human connect to human' already showed us his kinky side.
I went to my localish HMV today and saw that they had both Scream and Humanoid in store. It was so nice to see that.
