Haha, well it's not on my agenda to collect together a costume as I'd rarely wear it as a whole. I just meant I'd pick up those bits as I pass them as a sort of long-term activity and see how much of an outfit/collection I can develop I will take a picture if ever I decide to dress up one day though ;D

I think it would definately suit the industrial look that they appear to be going for. Maybe Tom's blog post was suggesting something Ahh! The coat's colour is very nice, and I like the collars. If only they weren't so expensive.

I rather like the Steampunk style, and funnily enough I was also looking at those types of clothes on Ebay except I was looking at the goggles and pocketwatches mostly.
I love how elegant Steampunk is, it's very very nifty.

www.orlakiely.com/uk/ I very much like Orla Kiely's 1970's style decor, especially in their latest shoot. I also like the frilliness of Chanel's 'Fall 2009/10' collection.

It all depends on what type of style you are after but here are some really good designers in the punk/harajuku area of Fashion as I did this when I was in college Although you'll have to trawl through a lot of Japanese pages, I'll direct link you to most as they're quite difficult to find; Alice&thePiratesAlgonquinsMore well known fashion designers not directed at punk/lolita; Hisui ToyAguri SugimorisGarconshinoisG.V.G.VAraisaraIf you need any more just tell me as I have a load more websites from when I did it.
