thank you midorii just a quick quesiton theres a bit on the dvd... bills taking about warsaw and what hes supposed to say they translate the last thing he says as *what matters is* but it has the word warsaw in is and it didnt really make sense ?? was it right ? this is just me and my little perfectionish ways ? but did you notice it ? thankyoo x  He tries to remember what he's supposed to say and that's mostly what he says there. After he can't make out the second sentence he should know he decides that it's not as important as the (first) bit he does know so he says "The most important [thing] is ´Ahoy Warszawa`." So it's just a case of different wording. |

you know the song bills singing and it is pretty much completely bleeped out apart from the *wie do* bit ( or something like that)
well.... i know this is pretty much impossible to find out but does anyone know what the songs about/what hes singing lool
i just wanted to know lol

Ha ha, I wish! I've only seen it twice as a whole. Obviously I've seen the parts I did the subtitle translations for a bit more often but I really need to watch the whole thing more.

lool im a bit obsessed with the dvd and i have literally learnt the whole thing in german ive seen it too many times and then in my german lesson at school.... i just came out with a load of stuff about *jumbie*, my teacher was well impressed lol except she had no idea why i was talking about a little plane called jumbie ?? she absolulty loves tokio hotel because theyve made me actually try really hard now |

I've done another subtitles/translation bit a while back because someone was wondering about a missing sub on the official UK Forum. When Nikki mentioned the German for "cold sore" in the Next Person to post thread earlier it reminded me of it. It's not as major as the Bill/Tom fight but you might like to see it anyway. I put the three things that aren't subtitled in italics.
In the beginning after Tom asked where the weight room would be Georg’s “answer” gets subtitled a bit misleading as he actually wasn’t referring to the weight room.
Ok, first the DVD subtitles. After that the literal German transcript and a few explanations. I’ve only translated parts where the wording is differently in the subs (And you can see why! In most cases it would just be too confusing to have subtitles like that. ) or the things that are missing. The fussiness continues...
Subtitles as on the DVD: Bill: Oh no! Tom: Where’s the weight room? Georg: Maybe it’s over here, in the wellness room. The lovely wellness room. Fabulous, right? Here’s a coat rack. Tom: You can lie in the whirlpool for a while. Georg: Sit on the box. This is a relaxation box. A massage box. You lie on top, and it’s totally relaxing. Tom: This is Susie, our massage therapist: hello. And… great. Alex Richter makes all our dreams come true. Bill: Oh, no! I’m getting a cold sore! That’s disgusting! Cold sore! Cold sore! Tell them, Georg. He popped his blister and it squirted all over his face. Georg: All over your face. Bill: Dear Fans, don’t talk about cold sore around Georg, or one will pop right out of your lip.
What was said in German and literal translation: Bill: Oh nein! Stimmt, den Backstageraum kenn’ ich noch! (Oh no! [That’s] right, I still remember that backstage room!)Tom: Wo is’n hier die Muckibude? (Where in here is the “muscles den”? They went with “weight room” as a literal translation might have been confusing for English speaking people. “Muckis” is slang for “muscles”.)Georg: Yeah… da vorne is’ Wellness-Bereich. Vielleicht willste [= willst du] dir den noch mal… (Yeah… over there is [the] wellness area. Maybe you’d like to [missing verb as he didn’t finish the sentence] again.)Hier, der super schöne Wellness-Bereich. (Here, the super lovely wellness area.) Tierisch, ne? [„tierisch“ literally translates into “animal (adj.)“, “beastly“,“beastlike“ but it’s also a slang word and in this case, just like the subs imply, means “fabulous”. Depending on its use it can also mean “extremely” e.g. “tierisch genervt” = “extremely annoyed”.]Tom: Oh. Georg: Is’ hier so ’n Garderobenständer. Tom: Und dann kannste [= kannst du] dich einfach auch mal `n bisschen in den Whirlpool legen. (And then… [subs from DVD])Georg: Auf die Box. Ist halt so ’ne Entspannungsbox. `Ne Massage-Box. Da legste [= legst du] dich so drauf und dann ist das total entspannend, so. Tom: Oh ja. Das is’ hier Susi, unsere Masseusin *: hallo. Und… schön! Alex Richter hat uns da echt wie immer, so jeden Traum wahr gemacht. Hier so... sehr… (Alex Richter, as always, has made pretty much all of our dreams come true. Well, here… very…)Georg: Ja, ist echt super. (Yes, that’s super.) *If you were to look that word up, you’re not very likely to find it as it’s not a „correct“ word as such. People might use it and would also be understood but language-wise it’s wrong. It’s a mixture of “(die) Masseuse“ or “(die) Masseurin“. Bill: Oh, ich krieg’ `n Herpes! Oh, is’ das ekelhaft! Tom playing shocked: Oh Gott! (Oh God!)Bill: Herpes! Herpes! Herpes! Ich weiß noch, einmal hat Georg erzählt und da sind die ganzen Blasen aufgespritzt ** und alles spritzte ins Gesicht. (I still remember, once, Georg was talking and then all the blisters popped [open] and everything squirted in the face.) [He didn’t say “his/Georg’s face” but kept it general, although it’s fair to assume he meant Georg’s face. ]Georg: Bei dir ins Gesicht, ne? (In your face, right?)Bill: Liebe Fans, wenn ihr bei Georg in der Nähe steht, bitte nich’ über Herpes sprechen, sonst kommt hier gleich so `n Ding rausgesprungen **. (Dear fans, if you’re standing close to Georg, please don’t talk about cold sore, or else such a thing will pop out here [motioning to lip] right away.) [It gets subtitled with “your lip” but I think, Bill actually means Georg’s lips.]** Something for you pronunciation-eager fans : the way Bill pronounces “aufgespritzt/rausgesprungen” is a good example how we tend to pronounce “G/g” sometimes when we get sloppy with our pronunciation. You might have noticed it already but it turns into a “J/j” pronunciation every now and then. My grandma tells me off for it sometimes and says I should speak properly.  A few examples:
- gut (good) = jut
- geben (give)= jeben
- (der) Garten (garden) = Jarten
And if you really want to overdue it, you use it twice in one word: gegangen (gone) = jejangen (Oh, that’s almost painful to listen to.)
That’s also why one of Gustav’s nicknames is "Juschtel". My best friend is called Gaby and she hates it with a passion if anybody calls her “Jaby”.
Btw, that doesn’t work if “g” is not followed by a vowel or stands at the end of a word, e.g. "Magdeburg". (Thanks to Tokio Hotel not as many German people pronounce it Maaagdeburg  anymore which in general people from and around Magdeburg don’t like very much.) You couldn’t say Majdeburj. That doesn’t work. If people from Magdeburg are really slang and/or sloppy about it they just say "Machteburch". The "ch" pronunciation that’s not too easy for many foreigners.

I don't think they say "Juschtel" on the DVD, Kraig. Not that I remember at least. I've seen it written somewhere though.

I LOVE the Dvd ! I got it for xmas ! My favorite bits are of course JUMBIE ! Lol The Bit when Bill says about kids eating ! Had me in stitches And when he pulls tha girl onto the stage lol.. I was melting How Amazing would tht be if it happened to you ?!!?? Lol |

Yeah, those are all good parts. ;D I thought Bill looked pretty confident with the girl on stage, running around and dragging her along. Ha ha. I found that funny and not to be mean or anything but she pretty much murdered "Der letzte Tag". I wouldn't sound any better, I'm sure but it's still somewhat painful to listen to.
Nobody has mentioned the booklet so far... I like it very much. The whole hotel theme, the coffee etc stains on the pics and all. Very lovely.
