So, I just received my dispatch notice from HMV that my DVD is on the way *yay* and think it's way past time that we had a topic for it on here. Discuss the DVD here (your favourite moments etc - you know ;D). This will give the fans who haven't seen it yet and try to resist the urge to find out more about it the chance to avoid this topic and not stumble upon things they didn't want to know... yet.

well, i won't tell anything, cus i know there are people who haven't got their DVD yet. I put "spoilers" in the subject line now so please feel free to discuss the DVD here. People who don't want to know about it, don't have to open this topic and read it. I'd love to know what you all think. ;D

So, I got my DVD yesterday and first of all I just have to say, I'm extremely happy about the live CD. I've been waiting for one for quite some time and now they've released one and I just love it, love it, love it! ;D
The DVD... I haven't watched the live concert yet because I didn't get around to watch anything until 3am this morning, so I started with the documentary. There's just so many things we could talk about... I'll be selfish and start with Tom mentioning my name. "Susi, our massage therapist". Yeah, that made me giggle. The whole situation with the wellness room was hilarious anyway. Georg and the box and then the coat rack and Tom using "Susi" in such a stereotypical way. I bet she's blonde, not too clever but a very shiny happy person. What made me giggle was not that it's my name but when I was in Tokyo I was talking to a friend of my friend and he was asking me my name. I told him and he replied that when he learned English, the book they used introduced them to two characters (like you get in language text books, the ones you follow through the books) and the girl's name was "Susi(e)". After a while he added that the boy's name was "Tom". ha ha. When Tom randomly mentioned that name I just had to think back to the boy and girl from the text book.
The scene with Jumbi is brilliant anyway but hearing Georg's constant laughter in the background just makes it more hilarious to me. It's there all the time! ;D
The argument between the twins when Bill calls Tom a sick bastard... I was wondering do you get what it was about from the English subtitles? I found them a bit confusing... they left out a few bits (nothing major) but started off with a weird translation using "loud". I'd like to know if it makes sense (as much sense as an argument like that can make ) to the ones of you who don't understand/speak German.
Obviously there are way more worthy things to talk about (grumpy Gustav, Bill logic! *lol* etc etc) but I don't want to spam this thread and just wait for a few comments.

One of my German friends has ordered her DVD through HMV as well and hasn't even had a dispatch email yet. I hope you get yours soon, Ecomo! Maybe just before Christmas.

XD if it wasnt for the subs i would have thought he was making fun of that speech! >.<

i think i would have been a bit confused too if i hadnt seen the interview on viva when bill explained what it was about =] That's what I thought. I knew what it was about because of Viva Live and obviously because I understand the German in that scene but if I'd only had the English subtitles I would've been confuse about what was going on, especially with the incorrect translation using "loud" in the beginning. and i totally get and share bill's take on him having to help carrying instruments! ;D Bill really seems to be kind of stubborn when it comes to that... I'm just thinking of them back in 2005 in Magdeburg, it was cold outside, everybody was moving the gear to the van and Bill was standing by the door of their rehearsal room, shivering and whining something like "Hurry up, guys! I'm cold. I want to get into the van!" *lol* Just brilliant. hey midori remember that video you showed me of the "Ox" brothers? the very last part of the documentary, after the credits, when bill goes "Liebe kinder *don't eat healthy food at home! keep eatin those hamburgers*" (or somehting like that) reminded me of that! XD if it wasnt for the subs i would have thought he was making fun of that speech! >.< Ha ha, of course I remember that... "Liebe Kinder..." - classic. I actually had to laugh when Bill came up saying "don't eat healthy food" as it was approx. 4am and I was just finishing some crisps... after I had some chocolate ice cream (with brownie pieces) and pasta before that. Lovely finish to the documentary. I didn't expect it which made it even better. ;D

Ugh, it still hasn't come. The dispatch email says to wait 14 days but i really want to email them now.
I hope it comes before christmas. If it doesn't then it's just ridiculous.
I hope everyone who is waiting for it gets it soon otherwise there will be war on hmv.
I dragged my friend in hmv last week to see if they had it and she though i was mad as i've already ordered it. There's nothing wrong with two copies i tell you! (they didn't have it. i guess it's only available online)
