If Perez doesn't like someone Summer, he'll try and ruin them because he's a knob and should be slapped in the face with a massive baseball bat ^^
He claimed he had one sent to him informing the mic being turned off and stuff The one he had a picture of doesn't prove they lipsynced. Doesn't say on it and who cares if they did, cause it's all so over rated thanks to Perez

Plus his popularity is soley based on whether or not he can keep people in an uproar long enough to have his name said. People like to put others down who are doing better than them: Katty Perry case and point.

Nah nah! Stop putting images of psychically hurting a guy that's not worth the energy into our heads. We're nice people. *lol*
Pah, I bet he loves the stir he caused and that everyone is talking about him... I'm not bothering with it anymore and am not reading any stuff about it.

Same here Susi. I'm just finding it really annoying how so many fans are discriminating the band for it. I just don't understand the big massive deal about it.. As for Perez.... just bleugh!

Everyone has different opinions. When I pay money to see a band live, I want to see them live. Not for them to play the CD I have at home. It's unacceptable to have fans travel distances and pay entrance fees for a performance that isn't real. Now, some fans might gladly waste their money, I might even waste my money if it was in the UK, but I deserve to know what I'm paying into, don't I? It's deceitful and that's why fans do not like it. The general public views it as an indication that the band can't play, have no talent, etc. And they have every right to make that assumption. After all, if they could, they would, right? Now we know that they can play live, but to be honest, ever since the end of last year when Bill got sick, he's sounded pretty bad. He's had some days that are better than others, but many of the live performances (particularly acoustic) have sounded pretty bad. Strained, off key, etc. That's probably one of the reasons they did playback - because Bill is not sounding good, his vocal range is changing, to rest his voice, all sorts of things, but IMO it is not acceptable - they should not have done the shows. All the other acts in Anaheim were LIVE.
There is a LOT of reasons why some people will be upset and others won't. The main reason is how far we are willing to go to forgive the band. There are plenty of fans that will forgive them nearly anything, but there are also plenty of fans that demand them to be a band.

That I agree with to the full as thats exactly how I see it, I'm just sticking it out until the silence from the band is broken to why they did it, although I have my doubts about whether the statement will actually come from the band or the management.

I just don't think it's something to get so stroppy over to be honest. And they wouldn't have cancelled the shows because they hate to cancel things they've agreed to do. Cancelling would be worse in my opinion...
Bill's voice... yeah he's having issues with it still, but he did go back to work 2 weeks before he should have so I'm guessing that's taken it's toll too. I wouldn't say he's sounded all too bad, seeing as most artists take a bit of time off to recover and get their voices back on track, he hasn't done too bad. Should of had longer off though me thinks. He'd be sounding alot better... not that he's all to bad now
Anyway.. I don't it's as bad as people are making it out to be and the press saying they're the next Milli Vanilli is just pathetic. I've not lost one bit of respect for the guys cause they've got a bumpy ride ahead of them with the press questioning them now.

Yeah I can imagine that no statement will ever be given.. I guess there are some things we just can't know.. :/ Would be nice to know the full reason behind it though

-_- I dont think he realizes he's basically adding fuel to the fire. I don't see why they can't just come clean -_- I'm not going to get anywhere bitching so I just won't comment on it. They're just digging a hole that they will have to eventually get themselves out of. *sighs* *Rofl so is your Aimee Anything with Bill is! <3

I do agree that while this will placate the media for now, it could come back to bite them on the ass. Especially if they continue to mime some shows. It's also gonna make Perez want to gun for them more. But it was the only way they could really make a statement PR-wise.
