I'm still buying the DVD and keeping my support going, afterall, they're still the band I love the most, but it really kills me to see another band I like going in this direction.
They just need to build they supports back up with europe instead of taking us for granted. Maybe America will slam them and they'll come running back with their tails between their legs? if only.

As an American I have to say I'd rather the US market scare them off and they go back to ruling over Europe, those are the fans that have been with them the longest and hold all the power. I just want them to succeed, to continue going strong, which won't happen if managment doesn't realize their mistake and keep the boys in Europe. America reigns bands in and swallows them whole, the music industry here is one big failure.
Although I also wonder if maybe a kick in the face is what they all need to realize that they're hurting themselves, we;ve all stuck around hoping they'll gain back some of their integrity, like the interviews that were so relaxed and real or the Bill whose voice was rested enough to make it through a whole concert. But if they let their music go commercial made for crowd pleasing it will be the last straw that will make way for everything to fall through. I don't want to see the boys fall into obscurity, to be one of those bands that lasts a few years then is lost in the crowd forever, they have so much potential, managment needs to step back and let them use it.

Don't be too quick to believe Zillah just like that. She is nice and I get on with her, but she has an agenda and I'm personally sceptical of that whole thing. The chances are gthat the ore-ordering is down, but they must realize that since they haven't marketed it really. The record sellers - of course they say that. TH haven't released anything in europe in ages. As long as they hammer out a good marketing strategy for the next album they'll be fine. The problem is, a lot of hardcore European fans lie to think and say the TH are losing fans and the European msrket is in Jeapordy, but I doubt it's that serious. TH's biggest sales are the casual fans and I doubt that's been too negatively affected.

from the opinions of people I have just imagined it as a big game of kerplunk!
like, slowly the sticks are being pulled out and we just need to put them back in a again before the marbles start to fall

As I said earlier-I might be a little dramatic with this. I really hope they get their heads together and do a really good promotion in europe for the album and that maybe after this december dates in the usa they will work in europe for once...
It's just that I experience fans loosing interest-the girls I went to concerts with haven't been to any for a year now- I have. They are still my friends but not really interested in TH anymore. Yes maybe they will come back with the next album...I don't know.and they never really were hardcore fans and think I'm one ( as I somehow am after this year ;D haha) But information on TH -they get it from me. well however as always we can only wait and drink tea LOL

ja, hopefully with the new album coming out, interest will be resparked around Europe, perhaps they will gain new fans who were too young to know them before and if they do have a really new sound people may refall in love with their new material

Where are Lostprophets these days since they've been there? I'm still waiting for their 4th album which was due back in February. I'm not sure I want to support TH in the same direction. on an off topic note: LP are still about - i saw them after all, and the new album is coming out early next year. /OT.
about the actual matter, im not ecstatic about it but if it's going to help them and its not a whole album i can happily live with it we dont know that the song is going to be pants yet. if its her AND Bill it may come out half decent at least? and seriously do you think that Tom would play pop music? i dont. they may not have a say in everything, but they have a say in what they play its their careers and theyre the ones who choose what they do its a long shot - but hey if it works, then good on them.

Ye, I don't think they would be too happy if they had to play pop. Especially with Gusti preferring bands like Metallica and such
