It's me again with another "goodbye"... it'll be quite a long one this time and comes as somewhat of a surprise.
Things haven't been great at work this past week. Some of you might have heard that Diamond Holidays went into administration a week ago and well, that does not only affect their staff and all the people who booked holidays with them but also hotels etc... like my work place. It's terrible how many bookings we have lost because of this and the atmosphere at work hasn't been a happy one ever since. Middle of the week some colleagues and I got temporarily laid off work so I'm going home to Germany for four weeks. I'll be back on 19th Feb and hopefully won't be out of a job by then.
Since I might not have many chances to be online (unless my sister leaves her mobile internet stick to me *LOL*) I probably won't be able to come on here and post. There are still quite a few posts I wanted to and need to reply to but I still have stuff to organise before I leave tomorrow morning. Sorry for the delay... as always. 
Anyway, even though it's not the happiest of circumstances, I'm looking forward to going home for a while and to see my family and a few friends again. 
So, bye for now and I'll talk to you all when I get back (I'll try to come online in-between and say hello).

It's sad to hear you're temporary laid off work but I hope everything is fine when you come back and you have a lovely time with your family!

So I'm not saying goodbye yet, but I will be soon... I was offered a job teaching english in South Korea this week so I'll be jetting off at the end of October. To say I'm excited is the understatement of the century! Squeeeee !! ;D

The initial contract is for a year... but I know so many people who have gone out there and they've stayed so if things are as good as I hear they are, I may stay longer ;D
It sort of hit me this week though that I'll be teaching every day and that's when the nerves really kicked in lol!

Aww thanks guys **hugs** I keep waiting for nerves or fear to kick in, but it's just not happening lol. I'm more scared about the flight(s) than anything else to be honest, I HATE flying so I'm not sure how I'll do on the long hauls...  |

i love flights! i just hate sitting on the plane waiting for it to take off -.- (my first time on a plane was when i went to Ghana ) i just tend to sleep on the plane, it goes so much faster! (tip there, mairi - earphones in, eyes shut & BAM, you've arrived) haha. good luck tho & keep us all updated! |

Ah i hate flying also! I REALLY dislike it. I can manage for a short flight but a long flight - i really dislike it. Had some operation on my ears when i was really young which means that my ears react to the slightest change in pressure so it doesn't help that my ears hurt so bad when i fly.... Good luck with the flight and everything else |
