aah. its like all the discussions we have in RE abortion - against it generally, but it's about the situation. like if someone one raped and got pregnant, you couldn't expect them to have a kid if they didn't want them; its not like they've gone about sleeping out. euthanasia - for it. its their own choice. suicide - for it. again, it's their choice divorce - for it, if the reason is a decent one. can't think of anymore right now, but if i do, i shall post. i have strong opinions on things like this.

abortion - Only if in the early stages, mother or child indanger,if child is severly disabled and would have a very short life.
euthanasia - anyone should be aloud it you should be able to choose when you end your life.
suicide - a person should have the choice to choose when to end there life
divorce - only if there is a good reason.
gentic engineering (Gm food, embryo research etc) - only if it benfits the majority eg curing diseases for cutting down on poverty.
fertility treatment - everyone has the right to have a child.
animal testing - only if its for medical reasons

genetic engineering - wrong wrong wrong. you don't have to create humans just to kill them and experiment on them! there must be other ways..
fertility treatment - agree with. like Jenni said, everyone deserves a chance.
animal testing - for nothing. hate it hate it hate it.

Abortion - Personally, for it.. I mean, someone gets raped, and ends up pregnant that way, you can hardly blame them for not wanting to keep it. But then again, I'm sort of against it too, depending on what the situation is. -shrugs-

Abortion - I'm for it.
For rape victims it's 100% fine
But some people think that if the situation is otherwise, then it's the parents own fault for being careless. Yeah, they shouldn't have been sleeping around in the first place but let's face it, if the person was stupid enough to do that then it's obvious that the chances of that kid having a crap life are pretty big. Stuff like being ignored, miss-treated, maybe even abused. And no one wants a child to have to go through that.
And as for animal testing - It's sick. Really sick. I just think it's disgusting! There should be a law against it

abortion - Tough one. I hate that some people use abortion as birth control. But also of course there are situations when it should be possible. So, yeah. One of those, I don't like it, but I can accept that there is a need for it in some cases.
euthanasia - Should be available to everyone.
suicide - I can't really give an opinion. My heart says everyone has the right to choose. But I stopped someone. More than once. Maybe I'm selfish. A hypocrite. Dunno.
divorce - Totally ok of course. Why should anyone have to stay married if they don't want to?
gentic engineering (Gm food, embryo research etc) - The majority of this kind of research is pointless and unethical.
fertility treatment - Personally I don't think everyone has a right to a child. Children are not possesions to be claimed. But I think fertility treatment should be available yes, on a case to case basis.
animal testing - Totally and utterly unacceptable. There are child molesters in prison - do the damn tests on them.

abortion...acceptable as long as its not a form of contraception. animal testing,my heart says no,but my brain says if it helps save a childs life id have a hard choice. divorce...not just a choice,in some cases ,should be mandatory!like my rents. gm foods?the world is running out of food. fertility,im sorry,if nature says no,theres usually a reason ..HOWEVER...if it was my problem id prolly want it.

abortion - I find it really difficult to say that i believe abortion is right, but i do think in some cases it is necessary, and can change a persons life for the better. Im pretty undecided on it, but I do believe it is killing a person that could of lived, and i think that is wrong.
euthanasia - Is 100% acceptable, and should be allowed in the UK.
suicide - I dont think suicide is the answer to anything, but i am not completely against it. It just makes me feel awful to think that someone could be so depressed and deeply upset that they would feel there only option is to end their life, but if they do feel that way, i guess its there choice.
divorce - is okay, people change and nobody should have to stay married to someone they dont love.
gentic engineering (Gm food, embryo research etc) - For medical reasons it is acceptable, but for anything else eye colour, skin coloud etc. it is plain wrong.
fertility treatment - Is an amazing gift to mothers who cant have children, and i have no issues with it.
animal testing - plain wrong. should never be condoned

I'm keep an eye on this thread because there's a danger that this could get too far into judgemental territory. Lets just make sure that when we post our opinions, we're open to listening to each other.

Shall do Claire =] I think most things I'm for. Apart from animal testing. That's just damn cruel. Spesh with cosmetics. And genetic engineering XP The whole 'Designer Babies' arguement comes into play here. And here's another one I just thought of. Incest - Eh... depends on the circumstances. Rape and stuff totally ain't right, but I honestly knew a boy who had a relationship with his older brother. Then his older brother died/went missing and he was so crushed. So yeah, I think I was the only one who was ok with him and his brother. Kraig-x

I could rant on about euthanasia all day. I'm for it, especially how I saw my gran suffer the way she did. You'd put a dog down, so why not a human being?

Kraig .. yeah, that's an iffy one, but I know what you mean. There were two brothers in our village who'd been together for something ridiculous like 50 years. One of them died last year and the other is now in a psychiatric hospital. I don't care what people say about it - they loved each other and went through 50 years of shite because of it. That's true love and devotion to each other, and I find it horribly sad that the one left behind is now so unhappy he's locked up in a hospital. Too sad.
