Abortion - only if the girl got raped. I was gunna say 'or if the child was gunna be born critically ill' too but that can be seen as selfish but it can also be seen as doing the baby a favour and not leaving them to suffre a painful life. I'm generally not sure about abortion though.
Suicide - It doesn't solve any problems but if you REALLY feel you can't go on, then it's your choice. I did manage to talk a Finnish friend of mine out of it though. I'd never do it myself becuase I wanna live as long as I can.
Euthanasia - For it. If someone's final wish is to die, you will fulfil that wish whether you like it or not, if you really love the person who wants to die. Should be available to everyone but it's argued that the criticaly ill ones who want to die aren't thinking straight. It's also argued that the one who wants to die may be seen as weak becuase they can't bear the pain they're going through. I personally think that it's okay if someone wants to die.
Divorce - For it. If you don't want married life anymo', you don't gotta stay married against your will.
Homosexuality - Only legalised 40 years ago but I don't care. I'm in a same-gender relationship myself and I love my gf very much.

I am 100% pro-choice and I'll tell you why - there are young kids out there that get pregnant and though they should be far more careful, they should not be having kids either. If we banned abortion there would be even more poverty stricken children out there. Or there would be children born to mothers and parents that cannot take care of a child and do not want a child. It's bad enough as it is to see the negelcted children of this world suffer because the parents can't take care of them - taking away choice in these kinds of situations will only further the suffering of children in some cases. I'm 28 and the prime age of having children and I don't think I could adequately take care of a child. I shudder to think of the 17, 18, 19 year old single mothers that have kids and what kind of lives those children might grow up to have.
I'm pro-choice because I'm pro-children and their right to a good start in life.
Edited to say that I don't mean to suggest all young mothers cannot take care of their children, only that I think they should have a choice about it so they can make the right decision. They don't always make the right decision, but at least they have a chance.

abortion - It's up to them really euthanasia - I think it's okay... suicide - Though i personally think it's kinda selfish but it's there life divorce - It's okay, If its for a good reason and things... gentic engineering - Thoughi wouldn't eat messed about food i think it's a ok idea  fertility treatment - Well I think everyone should have the choice to have a kid~ animal testing - I can't stand animal testing... Now, don't walk on eggshells, but what are your honest opinions of trangenders and transsexuality. (Two different things. Look on Wikipedia)

I think that it's a person's right to be happy. And frankly, if girls are allowed to make their boobs huge and all that, why shouldn't people be able to take it a step further and change their sex etc.
But it does worry me. I remember seeing a programme about this guy, god he was a sweet guy, who became a eunuch. He was SO sure. And less than a year after he was having a nervous breakdown because he felt it was a mistake. Actually it was pretty upsetting to watch.
But I'm in no way against it.

Abortion - Im Prochoice... But not as a form of contraception.. i mean

... ive had an abortion.. because i knew i wasnt ready.. that my child wouldnt have the life i would want it to have.. i knew that i would probably end up blaming the child for ruining my future and all my dreams.... but Abortion... it... how do i put it... it hurts you more then physically.. I Cried for 2 weeks, i wouldnt get out of bed.. I wouldnt eat...
The knowledge that i killed a life... even tho iknew that in the long run, it was the right choice..
Abortion is not something to be taken lightly or used as contraception.. i dont know how girls do it.. there was a girl my friend was seeing.. she had had 4 abortions and she was only 20..I mean... everyone has a different story.. maybe if someone had been tehre with me it would have been easier.. but u know... i got myself into it..
But yeah... Im pro-choice
Suicide - I personally wouldnt... i cant do that... but if someone feels that they cant go on.. that they just want it to end.. why should i say.. no you have to live in this agony
Euthanasia - Im ok with it... As long as There is no chance of cure... If someone is a vegetable.. or knows that there future only brings medical pain and there body breaking down before there own eyes... I would want to live through that...

Transgenders/transexuals - Everyone has the right to feel comfortable with who they are
Incest- i dont know how to comment on this... because... i cant see my brothers that way.. i cant see any of my family that way.. i could never imagine touching them in a sexual manner..
but if someone feels that the love they have for a family member is deeper then law will allow...Well.. love is love... who are we to deny Them that.
plus... if i wanna root your brother.. im being hypocritical saying you cant...
ahh i feel like thats an innappropriate joke about incest there...

Liz, its unfortunate that there's a lot of people like that XP I've watched a few sex change TV programs, and the people on them are always so happy and I'm like 'I want to be like that!'
Pity the news and stuff always picks up on the negative side of things though.

It's very unusual in this day and age to choose to become a eunuch and I'd question very strongly someone's decision regards that. It's unusual and to be honest kind of weird. Plus, I'd question whether the boy was confused and suffering asexuality...I don't know...just unusual. I think any form of gender reassignment should come with extensive therapy. It's a big decision, so I think ultimately talking about it with experts should be the way to go. But, I also understand the desire, I really do. I occasionally stuggle with a very mild gender dysphoria. I really have times when I believe I'm a gay man trapped inside a woman's body. It's very very mild as I am happy being female generally, but really very often wish I had a peen. Plus, the whole problem of always falling for gay guys and actually finding the gay part the atractive bit. I'm so weird by "normal" standards. Gender and sexuality is so complex I can never get my head around it. People who think it's as simple as gay, straight and bi (welcome to my work colleagues) know very little about the true nature of human sexuality and are probably repressing parts of themselves at the same time. Claire theres nothing "wierd" about falling for gay guys, or finding the gay part attractive. i have a major thing for gay guys and feminine guys, the make up and hair thing is my biggest weakness.
My Bf tells me the biggest thing he found attractive about me was i have a female body and a male brain lol half the time i forget im female and when i was younger i had major issues about being trapped in the wrong body....luckily ive gotten used to it (took me years) and im now comfortable acting as either. i can use both parts to my advantage ;D |

It is a big decision to change your sex =P I know you have to have a signature from a therapist to get hormones, at least you do in the US. Apparently its a lot harder over here.
I know my sexuality is complex XP I've said I can make people gay or straight depending on how they look at me. And who I like is weird too. I mean, you don't really here of pansexuals that often.
I think I'm weird in a sense I don't feel trapped in the wrong body. Its more... annoying and uncomfortable, sometimes I disgust myself. I'm waaaaaay more confident and happy now I have people who see me as a boy.
