Edit midori: Please refrain from posting actual urls for download sites in this thread. It is merely here for discussion and to get an idea about consumer behaviour. Thanks ;D
this website is amazing.. it's mostly just got asian stuff and cinema bizzareee... but there is the entier achive of songs... (its only about 300.... but its amazing nevertheless!)

I buy CDs mainly. I can't really afford to do so but there's something so satasfactory about actually having a disk. In cases where I can't get it then I will borrow from a friend or something. However, generally, my friends are into a compleatly different genre (or wait to borrow off of me )

I remember I originally got my dad to download Zimmer483 but then I felt guilty and bought it off amazon aswell! (that's not the first time i've done that! LOL)
I guess Im quite lucky in the respct that my friends have very similar taste in music to me (except one who listens to folk music but whatever!) so we usually just trade cds!

I usually buy CDs, I stopped buying music for a while, except for Tokio Hotel music. But now I buy CDs from the CEX shop, I'm listening to the music on my iPod, not the actual CD anyway. But recently I also lost my 'iTunes virginity' with a voucher But I used to be a lot more religious to CDs, until I discovered I could get Celina Ree, Yelle etc.

If I want a whole album then I'll buy it somewhere cheap like Priceminister/CD Wow! (got Humanoid Pre-Ordered for £7) but if it's just one or two songs I like then I'll convert a YouTube vid on zamzar.com and then I get free MP3s lol

If it's just one song I'll download it, but if I want to hear the whole album in awesome quality and look up lyrics, album art etc. I'll buy the CD, even import it if I have to.

Well, I buy CD's when I can, or download from iTunes if I can't find the CD, but if they're ridiculously expensive, like if they're imports, or I can't find them anywhere, then I use a youtube converter... BUT I feel better about it because I think that it's not taking anything away from anybody, because if I didn't download it, I wouldn't be able to buy it anyway
