I tend to buy CDs mostly. I just like having them - as other people said - the artwork / bonuses etc. My mother is the download queen - itunes.

I bought the RSG music video from there.
But it won't play on my ipod...
and my ipod is friggin' video too!

If I'm getting music online and paying for it, I use Itunes. A lot of the bands I like are still unsigned, though, so they just post their songs up as free downloads. Most of the music I have is actually from the bands themselves.
Other than that, if I'm going to buy a hard copy of an album, I always try to get it on vinyl. CDs just are too small; if it's only available as a CD, I'd rather just buy it off Itunes. Vinyl records seem more real to me, and since DJs need copies to spin in clubs, even though vinyl's not popular any more, pretty much all indie and most mainstream albums still have a certain number of vinyl copies pressed anyway.

I sometimes buy CDs if ever I'm feeling rich but otherwise I'm naughty and I yoink it offa LimeWire.

some times ill buy CDs but most of the time i use limewire lol

Whats that, Never heard of it ?
Anyway i usually buy CDs, I like to have a hard copy so i can listen to my music upstairs too and i usually get mates to send songs to me

itunes! its like £6.00 / £7.00 for an album lol!
and i by CDs from the shop's.
i used to use Limewire every now and then
untill i found out it was Illegal i stopeed using it.

I buy CDs (mostly online because loads of the acts I like are not fame in my country so I can't find their CDs!) and when it's only ONE song that I like from an another, I ripp it of youtube!  |
