Dude, it ain't TH's fault. Please remember that, and even if it's a joke-- slapping them would put them off coming here, don't you think?
Just look on the bright side, even though it's hard too, they're in America at the moment but that doesn't mean they won't come back! I know I get worked up easy with all this American, and being left out, business but we're the best street team out there, ever in my opinion. Even though it seems that we're being ignored at the moment doesn't actually mean we are, Claire has said there's been trouble or something with their old RC -- Fascination Records-- but I'm sure they'll come back.
We just need to stretch our already thin patience out, and try and create more faith. If anything, we have each other I'm sure quite a few fan bases for different bands go through the same thing as we're going through right now. Chins up, smiles on, and we'll just continue to be the best. We can't let this American dogpoo pile crumble down our hopes!
And that's my positive attitude speech of the day. : P

I got to agree with you there Becki.
I mean, It's obviously not the bands fault..
But it's the fact that this statment slammed the UK and France..
That's what wound me up!
I think everyone should try and do their own promoting of the band over the summer and just hope that it helps the fanbase grow..
I mean, buddies on MSN and all...
Get them to check out the band and join the street team.
It's not impossible to do it!
I got around 5 new people into TH this week and yeah they are only in the first stages of being a fan, but I'm sure they will encourage the band to return and everything!
We just need to keep up with our work and keep faith in the band
Yeah, that may seem hard, but it will pay off in the end 
And dudes!
They are not igoring us..
They just aint putting us as priority..
They can't be ignoring us, becuase they sent TH TV to come to the MU and film us!

(Plus, when Georg mentioned the Rolling Stones being a band they admire, that's another British one.. So altogether, the bands he mentioned, only 2 of them American!
I get the feeling they look up to the british bands more ^_^

I feel better now after saying that ^_^And, actually, the UK meet-up was the only one they paid for. The original American one was footage the fans took themselves and I sent to Tokio Hotel's management for them because I thought the management would be interested as they were just launching the US site. If it wasn't actually for me, no fan footage would ever get into TH TV. LOL. But, yeah, we're the only ones they forked out their dough for. Claire |

I know we all have to keep positive, its so damn hard when all i get in
my bloody mail is Tokio Hotel USA, i believe everyone as fans or not deserve to love TH and
have them come to their country etc, i just wish UK people would see sense and love TH, however we do have to remeber USA is massive, i mean you've got all the areas that also speak Spanish and of course Canda hears what USA hears aswell.
I just really wish/hope/pray they come back,
even if its just for us odd 150+ fans, and the ones who couldn't
make it to the meet up.

To be fair to the UK, it really isn`t our fault that things didn`t go better for TH here last time. It wasn`t that they weren`t loved - they just weren`t known!
Hopefully the guys and their people have now learnt a hell of alot more about what good promotion can achieve, so next time round, coupled with all the hard work this Street Team has done, I`m sure it`ll be a totally different story. ;D

On the topic of Tokio Hotel moving to America you can hear Tom in this tommy2 interview (from when they were in LA in February) say that their roots will always be in Germany even if they wouldn't say no to a second residence in LA (who would?!).  I really believe no one should get worried about that insignificant article somebody felt the need to put together. *lol*
And no, I didn't lol at Bill's cute and/und confusion in that interview. Don't know how that could've happened to him. Never happens to me... not while talking and certainly not in writing. *shifty eyes*

I completely agree with Claire and Susi on this one, this article is just so much garbage! America loves a drama and I feel that this article author definately just wrote this for bad publicity for the guys. He obviously doesn't like them, and instead of being professional he's decided to be an absolute plonker and retaliate by causing an uproar...and he's succeeded! I mean, they won 'Interact' which loosley meant that much of their success so far had been due to internet users spreading the word, so what does he do? Puts this damn thing online.  Grrr. I've been lying low through this whole America 'phase' so I wouldn't get too wound up about it (plus, exams start Fri *gulp*) and I want to stay happy for them, but I just had to say something in here, because the moderaters are right (they usually are! lol) we have to just sit tight and not even consider walking away from our boys over something so little as this, think of everything that this band has done for us? I've been through some hard times with TH CD's as my only piece of mind. I honestly don't think they'd would do that to us  Anyhoo, that's my ramble lol *hugs* Mairi xx |
