God, this made me a little bit mad. Firstly the mention of the failure in the UK and implying that we only like music that is internationally popular. But also secondly the implication that they're all going to up sticks and move to America - management and band. That better not be true. There's nothing like upsetting your European fans by leaving them for the USA. Translation from THUS ( www.destinorock.com/) Last saturday 3rd the german band Tokio Hotel took part in the Bamboozle festival, near New York. A lot had been said about the hurried comeback of the reacently operated Bill Kaulitz. What's true is that Tokio Hotel's presence in the festival was only a public act where music was only anecdotical. They sang 3 songs, but they could have only played one, and having the same result. To see and be seen.
The main goal of the german band's management is to get into USA. The american market is the big goal and the key that could open the rest of countries they still have to "conquer". It isn't worth for TH being "demigods" in France if in the anglosaxon market they are only another band like the rest. The trial of getting into Great Britain was not very successful. "Ready Set Go" entered into a modest TOP 77 and it dissappeared only a week after from the british TOP 100. Trying to sell english people a music band is like trying to sell chinese a calculator. If it's not internacionally recognized for some reason, is almost impossible to reach their markets.
Taking adventage of the band's presence, this week is going to be realased "Scream" in USA. Knowing how much they are risking, they have invested a lot in Marketing. Very reliable sources have informed us that, if management's plans go on (till now they have always) their headquarters, also band mambers, could leave Germany and move in a near future to America. The list of artists having done the same is neverending. The last one, Leona Lewis.Claire x

if that is true I would say 95% of the fans in europe say goodbye to TH. but the guys always said tat they can't imagine living abroad because they miss Germany .so we have to have a look at what is happening... and I'm 100% sure that a lot of the american fasn are not willing to travel for hours to see their band as european fasn do or even taking public ways to travel-I heard that a lot of fans moaned about the concerts being that far away eventhough it#s like two ours by train

WHAT?!!!! They can't move there! That will ruin them! Seriously, if they are thinking of moving their headquaters and everything to America, they are going to loose so many fans over here! I KNEW AMERICA WAS BAD!!
I actually started crying... Seriously, they will loose so many fans here if they leave to move over there! And mentioning the UK like that?! At least the UK is always loyal to a band... America is thickle... I bet, that if they move to America, that's when they will ditch them and they will come crawling back to us for support again...

I am speechless. Only last night I was talking to Aimee and somehow trying to make excuses for the whole US thing and saying how we have to be supportive and blah blah ... But hell, I don`t need to be hearing that. We weren`t even given a proper chance with them. If we`d had the extensive promotion the US have had it would have been a totally different story.
As for leaving Germany and moving to the US...? Well, if that were to happen, then I guess I really have been wrong about them. But no, I won`t accept that. I`ve said it before and I`ll say it again, there is a huge difference between loving a place and calling it home. Germany is their home.
Leona Lewis. Bah! You can`t compare the two. The reason she went there is because alot of talent show winners in the UK have one hit of the back of the show and then dissappear!
( ok, apparently I wasn`t speechless. Just mad. )

I forgive you for the excuses Liz
GAH! Moving to America will break them I think... I've had nothing but a bad feeling about them, since they started off in America! Sheeze! We (Europe) Support them 24/7 and half of the Canadians and Americans I speak with on MSN that know the band are not fussed on them, most of them only like the band because of the twins and not the flamin' music!
I agree with Liz.. Saying that about the UK! We had sod all promotion for the band! And Leona Lewis?! She's only in America cause she is managed by Simon Cowell and he lives there! HOW STUPID ARE THEY?!?!!!!

I agree with Kraig Bill and Tom have always said that they would never leave their home country.
And I agree with Liz about Leona Lewis. Simon Cowell bought her that house in the US as a present for doing so well.

ok take a deep breath I know it's somehow different for you as it is for me because of the whole Tokio Hotel and the UK situation-totally comprehensible. but this is just onearticle and no one of us knows how reliable this article and the journal/homepage or whatever is. Or does anyone? and furthermore we don't know if this so called "reliable sources" are really reliable... press writes a lot of shit , there were ridiculous things said about th in the past.
and yes I understand that you are being piss-ed off and stuff but please take a break and just try to calm down... I know if you are a hot tempered person that's difficult and together with the whole situation ist's even harder but try too...

I'm calmer now, but my feelings towards this haven't changed. they slated the Uk and they slated france. That's 2 european countries at once! They are so thickle with music over there.. fans come and go.. I have, however, noticed that fans in europe are extremely loyal to a band they like! We have stuck buy them so far through the whole america thing. But this is somewhat taking it too far! TH need to do a public apperance about this and soon...

It`s also a very irresponsible thing to do, by whoever wrote / printed that, and they certainly aren`t doing TH any favours! There`s enough problems as it is between fans in different countries, without this kind of rubbish making tempers flare even more!!!
