I have constant faith with the band.. I always have a gut feeling and it usually turns out correct.. Like I keep saying, They know we are here, just they don't seem to know how to re-approach us... The EMA's are going to be pretty important for them if they want to reach the UK... Hopefully I will get a ticket for that ;D And so will a bunch of others ;D

i dont have all that much faith anymore. i used to have loads, because bands travel alot, and they always move to all the countrys and continents and shizzle like that. but rubbing it in the fans faces, after what we did for them on that saturday is out of order! we don't deserve to be publicly slated like that. it's not like it's our fault. we don't organise the days when they come down we can't advertise for them we dont know anything except for when it gets written somewhere and we go scouting for it. they should have the brain sense to know that we (the EU fans) have a much bigger fanbase, and we are more loyal to our bands. i used the word WE alot didnt i? lol but does anyone get where i'm coming from? (Coz i dont )

I`m with you on this Claire. I actually have a `feeling` about the EMAs. I just think, and again, it`s only my personal opinion, but I think they are an ideal platform to re-launch TH in the UK. I think, like Claire said, let`s focus on making it through until then, and then see where we are.
Rememeber how some things can really get taken out of context. Like the Tom thing. One day we can all laugh about it. Then put amongst some other rumours it suddenly feels totally different. In actual fact, apart from them being in the US - which we already knew was happening - nothing has really changed except some idiot wrote a pretty mean article. Which has got us all mad again.
You guys as a team, has weathered a lot worse than that!!!!

Ha ha, that first article is a joke and whoever wrote it an idiot. It's just some "facts" thrown together. It's one of those things that are pointless and the band surely wouldn't agree with that kind of article. I'm not saying that they would never stay in America for a longer period work-related and also we know America is a big deal for any band that's not American etc etc. but they would never move there for good. I know never say never but I do say never because I'm pretty sure of it. Their hearts will never be in America even if they'd lived there. They embrace their German-ness too much. They love their home country and it will always be with them. It's a part of them. Their names can be changed but it doesn't change the fact that they're German. It is home you can't take something like that away even though America is exciting for them. It is a big achievement to make it in American. There's no denying that. The possibility of the third album not being German... please! *rofl* As if. There might be a mix but I think there will always be some German on an original album. Bill is more comfortable writing lyrics in German, it's what is closest to him and his emotions.
We know the press love to slag the UK off for the failure. Fine! If they feel the need to rub it in it's up to them. There is nothing we can do about it. Though we can prove them wrong when our time comes. ;D That first article is not even worth a second glance.

Yeah I agree Midori.. Bill always writes theirs songs in his mother tounge.. German. I can't see it being in English to be honest... I get the same feeling as Liz about the EMA's... I really do.. I have since I found out that the awards are being held in Liverpool this year! Let's just hope we are correct!

agree with Kiah. its getting pretty f*cking p*sstaking. i honestly could up to bill.tom.georg.gustav. and slap them one round the faces. EACH. oh and also tell them im a fan from the UK, and that slap was as real as anything.
at least then theyd know that the UK exists. actually nah. i dont think theyd ever realise we exist even if we nuked germany.

Watch your language.
Everyone's language in this thread is getting out of hand. Please keep it in check.

Please! Why get so worked up about this piece of insignificant scribble? Seriously! This article might as well not excist. I'm not worried in the slightest about this and it's not worth all those strong emotions of yours. Just relax. ;D

I think they'd actually have to wait until they're close to fluent in English before moving to an English-speaking country. Otherwise they'd be confused 95% of the time, or would always have to have a translator on them. And I doubt they'll be fluent for a while, since it's harder to pick up on different languages as you grow elder.
