Ahh, yeah, there are a few different types of vegetarians. However, NONE of them include eating fish. The difference between them is the consumption of eggs, dairy and honey. I am a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian

Im vegitarian Im actualy extremly proud to be a veggie because I think animals are just as important as people and should be at the same level. Its awsome to hear you wana be vegitarian you should tottaly go for it Theres so many substitutes for meat that I dont know why people still kill animals and I think anyone who says we NEED meat is kinda silly lol we dont

I'm not a vegetarian, I doubt it'd ever be possible because I love the taste so much. I tried quorn and all that, it's not for me. I'm totally against animal cruelty, and apart from Mcdonalds and KFC I only eat meat/eggs that are free range. In the end, in the wild the animal at the top of the food chain eats others; and we're at the top of our food chain. It's natural for us to eat meat, that's why we have canines/incisors.

I dont go to mcdonalds or KFC: a) because they dont really do halal meat b) you probably havent seen the videos ive seen about how their meat gets prepared and how they put the animal in a machine alive and let it come out the other end skinned but still alive, and they mock and taunt it as it tries to escape bleeding to death, and if i doesnt calm down they shock it. Thats just a tiny amount of information my friends.

There is a vegi meal at Mc Donalds though I love it its realy nice and I know they couldnt put meat substances in it because there not going to risk getting caught they could get proppa suid for that But admitedly meat for any fast food restaurant is killed in a sick way and then stored possibly for years.. its not nice Plus its not how easily and painless (for some people have been saying about this) they kill the animal its the fact they do it in the first place when theres plenty of substitutes to keep you going and they are healthy probably more healthy than eating meat actualy.

Ugh, in science today my teacher was dissecting the organs of a pig. It was pretty foul, especially when he 'cracked' open it's voice box x.x I was sitting there with tears in my eyes xD
I'm going to have to do stuff like that though as i want to become a pathologist.
Still, it's not nice when your teacher is trying to get mucus and urine out of the insides of a dead pig.

Hmmm didn't know where else to post, BUT since there are a few veggies here, anyone know where I can get some vegetarian marshmallows? I NEED them, because I love marshmallows, but I can't find them ANYWHERE!!!
I've seen some, but from veganstore and stuff, but can I buy any in an actualy shop? Dad will go mental if I ask for marshmallows off the internet....

Oh, it's so funny that you posted about marshmallows just now because I was ranting about how hard it is to find marshmallows without gelatin to my friend yesterday and allll day I've been wanting some. IDK, honestly. I've found some in health food stores, but I've never bought them because they were $8 a bag! Marshmallows and gummi candies (haribo type stuff) are the two things I have a really hard time finding veggie versions of.
I've been vegetarian for almost 8 years now. I wanted to quit eating meat before that, but my parents wouldn't let me for some reason. I never miss eating meat, and the last few years I've started getting grossed out by meat substitutes that are too realistic. Like, I used to buy those veggie chicken nuggets or fake chicken noodle soup, and now I'm just like "ewww, chicken" if I try to eat it, even though I know it's not real.
I was vegan for almost two years, but went back to eating dairy because I couldn't keep any weight on and was sick. I figured I'd just go back to eating dairy and eggs for a little while, till I got better, and then just continued for some reason. Lately, I've been feeling guilty about it though, and I think eventually I probably will go back to eating vegan, even if my makeup etc isn't.

But I`ve heard that Asda and Co-op both sell them. Although the Co-op was from a less reliable source. Maybe will help - sorry if not.
