THUKST MEET UP 2012 will take place on SEPTEMBER 1ST

We will let you know the exact location shortly, but it will definitely be taking place in London.

Hey everyone! So, as promised, today we are opening up discussions about our planned THUKST Meet Up! YAY!! Hope you're all as excited as we are. ;D

We're going to start the discussions with this poll, to make a decision about the date that the meet up will take place on.

You have three dates to choose from -

25th August

1st September

8th September

You each have three votes, but you don't have to use all of them. You may pick as many dates as you wish from the poll, but only pick the dates that you think you can definitely attend. So, if you can only come on 1st September, you vote only for that date. If you think you can come on any of them, vote for all three dates.

The meet up will take place in London - exact location to be decided at a later date - and will be a low key, fun event that you are all welcome to attend. It's an ideal opportunity to meet up with other UK fans and make some new friends, as well as meet up with some old ones

We'll have a picnic together, play some games with some nice prizes to win, and also play some of our favourite Tokio Hotel songs of course! We know that a picnic is dependant on good weather, and we hope that we'll be lucky. But don't worry, we're also taking the possibility of rain into consideration, and we'll try to make sure there's a nearby, indoor alternative if we need it.

We've also talked about making a video that we can upload afterwards, so that's something we can discuss further once the date and location are settled.

We will also be needing volunteers to help out with organizing the day and making sure things run smoothly. If you would like to be a volunteer please say so in a post in this thread, so that we have a good idea of who, and how many people are available to help out.

We'll leave the poll open for one week initially, possibly longer if there's no clear preference. So, take a look at your diaries and get voting Aliens! The dates are not that far in the future so we need to get onto this asap!

I only voted for the ones in September as i know i can attend them but there is a chance i could come in August too, but not 100% certain.

Happy to hear that, Robyn! We're excited too! Can't believe it's been over three years since the last meet-up. Feels like ages. It's not so easy to find the time, unfortunately. Especially with many of us working weekends which obviously are the only time most fans will be able to make it to a meet-up so it always has to be on a Saturday. Hopefully many of us can make it this time. ;D

Yeah i can totally understand that I wont start uni until mid-september so it's actually a really good time for me. With the August date, the only thing is that my sister's birthday is the next day so she MIGHT do something that day but if she doesn't, then im free then too
I'm just so excited because i've been a fan of TH for such a long time but never met someone else who likes them as much as i do in person. And ive never been to a THUKST meet up So it's so awesome for me

I get my results on the 24th so i won't be able to go on the 25th of August because then i have to apply for collage and on the 8th of September i have the Gaga concert. Hopefully i#ll be able to make it on the 1st which happens to be the twins birthday <3.

Hopefully i'll be able to come to this meet-up. So far for me to travel, so would have to make a weekend out of it, doesn't help that i don't know my way around London xD

It's hard to know your way around London even if you live nearby! (At least, it is for me!) I just look up the nearest underground station to where i wanna go and then follow signs when i get there
