Hi  I've wanted to go to a meet up for ageeeessssss. I live pretty far from London...so would it be weird if I turned up alone? I imagine most people go in groups with friends :/ |

Wouldn't be weird if you turn up alone, we all mingle and get to know each other, in fact I showed up to my first meet up alone! Seems like there will be a few of us showing up alone so don't worry

Sarah (and everybody else concerned), don't worry, of course we'll be providing directions as to how to get to the meet up point once we've decided on all the details nearer the time. ;D
Also, nobody has to worry about turning up alone. That is absolutely fine. Like Amiee said, many of us travelled to meet ups by ourselves before. It's the beauty of a meet up to meet people there and mingle with them and even make more friends.^^ The forum also gives you the chance to get talking with other fans beforehand so you have an idea of who'll be there and you won't be total strangers. In the past some fans from the same area also made plans to meet along the way and then travelled together.
Besides, we always strongly advise minors to come along with their parents! And even if you're not a minor, everybody is welcome so feel free to come with your parents, siblings, friends... they don't have to be TH fans.  We always had parents join past meet ups and they quite enjoyed themselves. ;D
Haha, it even looks as if some of you would go to the GaGa concert on 8th so you might even get to know some concert buddies for the future.^^
Ah Amiee, I think it's pretty good timing with your birthday. XD

I know i'll be coming by myself but i'm not worried about that at all. Like i said, i quite like the freedom of being out by myself and being able to do what i wanna do And it will be so nice to meet some of you guys from the forum |

Of course it is, Susi! Nothing much usually happens around the time of my birthday lol, everyone is usually on holiday :/
I'll definitely get a train from Hereford if that's any use to anyone and I'll probably change at Birmingham to get to London, that's my standard route so I'm willing to meet people on the way if people wanna meet to travel with.

i've been a member for 4 years & not yet been to a meet up due to money  but i WILL come this year! i can most likely deffo come to September 1st and possibly 25th August but i can't promise with that date. 8th September i can't cuz of working in a school & they'll be starting back around then. eep, it will be great to actually get to meet you all after so long :3 |
