Hey guys, so, you'll notice that there's been a few changes around here! We hope you like them. 
There were two main reasons for the decision to redesign the forum.
1) Some of you, and myself also, have been experiencing problems with the forum being slow for quite some time now. We think that was caused by the extra scripts on the old design. For that reason we've decided to use a completely stripped down forum, with minimal customization. This one uses no scripts, so we hope that will improve performance for those of you having issues. Of course, this means we had to work with only the basic Proboards layout, but we hope you're not disappointed 
2) Our website has a great new look and we really wanted to refresh the forum and coordinate it with the website.
Things to note* Admins names are still red *Moderators are now Blue *New posts are indicated by the bright TH symbol on the big blue buttons

*Yay* We're glad you like it. It's always a a bit of a worry redesigning because of course, we really want people to like the new look! So this is good to hear, thanks!

I'm loving it and I'm loving the new design to the website aswell!!
Must admit, it's lovely to be able to long onto the forum and have it be a lot faster lol.

Hey guys, As of this afternoon i'm having a bit of a problem with the website, though i don't know if it's just me or something happened? When i go on the home page of the website, the side bar on the left is there, as is the top bar and the little description welcoming people to the site but the area below that where usually all the latest news is, it just looks blank. If i highlight it, then i can see that stuff is written there but it is off-centre and i can only see half of it. This is true for every page on the site - they all look blank and the same until i highlight and then i see half of what is on that page. Any suggestions why this might be? Is it just me? Thanks |

Yaaaay!  I love the new design or both the forum and the website! I don't seem to be having any problems with the website like you are .... and I have no idea why you could be, sorry D: Anyways, it looks really, really great ^_^ and the forum's running lots faster now! Once again, I love the whole new design :3 |

Thanks  I don't know what could be causing it, but we'll definitely look into it for you. It's harder to pinpoint the issue when not everyone is experiencing the problems, so please bear with us! Can you let us know if it improves (or gets worse!) in the meantime?

Hey Liz Yes, of course, i totally accept that! I find it weird that it seems to be just me that's having this problem! I have restarted my computer and it's still exactly the same as described as above. The flashing pic says 'Welc Ba Ali' (that's how half of it is missing) and starts in the middle of the area where the whole thing should be. It's ok if you can't see any solution; it may just be my computer acting up or something! But i never actually saw the whole website. When i came on this morning, i thought that there was nothing in that blank bit and that it would come later on or something. When i clicked in that area this afternoon, i noticed some words came up in my google toolbar (as normally happens when i select something) So i highlighted everything and TA-DAHH i see half the text. Strange |

I'm glad it's not just me then. I have some more info for you guys as well. I'm at school at the moment and the website has the same problem that it does for me at home. However, when i went onto the website on my ipod, the website worked fine. Also, at home i am always logged into the forum but at school i am not. When i came onto the forum, the look was completely different. I'm assuming this is the new look? When i logged back into my account to post this, the forum went back to looking how it does when i'm logged into it at home (which is very much like the old design only much wider and the change of colours you highlighted in this post) Hope this helps you guys in coming up with some suggestions |

What explorer are you using guys? Is it Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Firefox?

I'm using Internet Explorer and so does my school.
If it helps, my ipod is Safari and, like i said, that works fine

Ok, lets talk about the forum first...
I really cannot understand how this problem is occurring  The old forum looked the way it did because it was scripted that way, and those scipts have been removed. And this new skin is set as the default skin.
The only thing I can think of is that the forum is getting confused because the name of the old skin was 'default'. I've removed that now, so could you do the following please ...
1) Log out of your account and log back in - are things ok?
If not,
1) Go to your profile > modify profile
2) Scroll down and find the option to 'select skin' (it's near the bottom). Choose 'thukst' (please note that using the 'old forum' skin option will not work as the scripts that make that skin work have been deleted)
3) Log out, and log back in. Everything should be working and the forum should be fine and in it's new design?
Please let me know if this works for you.
As for the website, I really don't know what's causing this. As far as I can see there is nothing obviously wrong. We going to have to send an email for support to find out what's going on, so please bear with us on this. We'll sort it out as soon as we can.
