 5 Years ago today, on August 15th 2005, Durch den Monsun was released in Germany as Tokio Hotel's first single! Durch den Monsun" (English: Through the Monsoon) and "Monsoon" are songs by German rock band Tokio Hotel. The German version of the song "Durch den Monsun" was released as their debut single in 2005 from their debut album Schrei. A remix of this song was made with Japanese lyrics, and an English version named "Monsoon" was later recorded, and included in their first English album Scream and released as their first English single in 2007.How are you guys celebrating this? time goes so fast ;o  <3 fav part of the video: tom's hair :') hahaha, on a more serious note when the rain starts after the 'dann wird alles gut... dann wird alles gut... wird alles gut...alles gut' bit, the emotion put into it with the rain and the way bill sings it and the way the rain bounces off gustav's drum kit, perfect. My favourite bit has always ben the 'hey....hey!' and the oomph-ness that goes into it haha (sorry 3 hours sleep is not good when describing things). And I spent the day yesterday watching pretty much every single Tokio Hotel interview/video I could find on Youtube, especially the younger ones (the interview with the hotel story is still my favourite, if you haven't seen it, you really should Youtube it lmao)

i miss when tokio hotel were like....well, like this haha.
actually, when they were like 18ish. they were cute, but hot. and relatively normal. hahaha xD
not that them getting a little more strange makes them bad, i just miss them like, wearing jeans and stuff on stage xD

i miss when tokio hotel were like....well, like this haha. actually, when they were like 18ish. they were cute, but hot. and relatively normal. hahaha xD not that them getting a little more strange makes them bad, i just miss them like, wearing jeans and stuff on stage xD I like them grown up, personally - but then again I am only a year older than the twins so I guess I can identify with them more that way? I'd still be all like 'aw ain't they adorable?' If they were still in their early teens but I guess I would feel a bit creepy about being super fangirl-ish. And I like that Bill has taken his style to its logical conclusion lol IMO it was pretty obvious that once he was able to dress in couture he was going to! But once again, I want to be a Costume Designer (when I grow up) and am completely fashion obsessed, so I can identify. |
