Nah. talk as much as you want. & yeah I know what you mean...but give it some time, if sure if you really wana believe in it then it'l come back. Maybe even stronger than before. Faith is a good thing to have when life is shitty...it adds to the list of things that keep you going.

If you want to keep your faith, then you're still being faithful  But faith is a bit like fandom- it gets stronger and weaker as you go along. There are looooaaaads of Egyptian Gods- it was discussed between Fran and I a few pages back and a few other people. By loads, I don't mean 50 or so, I mean 100s. As it's such a long-running and old religion, new Gods for different things came up all the time, and as Egypt is rather big and communication wasn't great at the time, the myths would have developed differently in different places. |

Well the good thing is that the religion sort of ended a few thousand years ago, so there's not much to keep up with apart from what you can find out ;D

The problem is that most websites and books have only the main gods like Osiris, Ra, Isis and Anubis, but not any of the less common like Anukis or Sekhmet, so it's harder to find out about them. And then there's sites like Wikipedia where it goes into more detail than you can handle and you don't know if you've already researched that God under a different name and it gets a bit confusing. I'd just like one source where all (or most) of the gods and their meanings are listed simply, which I suppose is what I'm making |
