I find Ancient Egyptians very inteseting. My bedroom is designed in an Egyptian syle A few years ago, I started making a book that recorded all of the Egyptian gods (so many!), and I did drawings of them in the way that they might be drawn these days, rather than the traditional 2D style from the side. It's quite intesting because some of them have more than one name, and more than one meaning, depending on where in Egypt they were worshipped.

Anubis has always been my favourite. and thats the reason I want a pet cat, though if I told my mum that, she would think I'm mad. I actualy sometimes incorporate elements of ancient egyptian culture and beliefs into my religion (which is something I like about mine, you can make it your own)

Anubis is quite a popular one. Out of the major gods, he's one of my favorites, along with Osiris. Nefertem, Khonsu and Nephthys rather interest me too. Have you heard of them- there's so many The British Museum in London offers lots to see and many interesting Egyptian atifacts. Drawing the gods in 3D was actually inspired by a computer game- there being profiles on the gods, with life-like illustrations. I liked seeing how the once rather emotionless faces were given character. EDIT: And Min is quite an outragous god too

i love the story of Osiris and Nut and Isis - it confuses people so much hen they hear that Isis is Osiris' wife AND sister and im like yeah well deal with it hahahaha i also love the story of how Nut was as the sky goddess and the points North South East and West were meant to be a representation of her leaning over the world and the sky was her stomach looking after us while Amun-Ra and Osiris fought through the underworld my god i sound like a book xD yeah i have heard of them! - wow we can talk about them! ive never had any one to talk to about them ^^ sorry

I like the story about Osiris and Isis- I just found a nice little story Although, there are so many versions of all the myths, it's hard to get together a full version at times. I like how gods are often related, as it brings them together like a big family. I'm enjoying talking about them too- I haven't in ages ;D

Ooh. How sensual. On the subject of Min, as well, the British Museum has some Egyptian... pornography. It's actually rather interesting. They had some vivid imaginations. But shall we move onto another god or something?
