Yeah, soubi's got a point. It's a cute thought in some way though. I don't know. You'd need to do something for the G's mums too... and how would they receive it? Btw, Mother's Day is in the beginning of May in Germany so if we should stick with that, I think.

I'm not from the UK, but I agree with soubi and Susi.. Doing it for their mum would imply doing it for G's mums too.. and then, the most important thing: their reaction! It's smthg that requests some thinking...

Hmm. I can understand your good intentions behind this. But personally I would have to say nein....
Some 'celebs' families are very public themselves. But I've always felt that the guys keep their families quite private. I'm not sure so much focus on their mums would be welcome.

Liz is right - Bill and Tom (and Georg and Gustav's) family are kept very private. You rarely see them anywhere. They don't go with them on tour, they don't give interviews, they just keep out of the spotlight. Us focusing on them isn't a very good idea - it doesn't respect their privacy, though we are all, of course, very thankful for their creations. Claire

I was thinking about this some more today and have come to the same conclusion. While the intention behind this idea is really sweet we shouldn't do it. First of all they're musicians and in a band and we should always focus on this and not their families. Their families and friends are about all they've got left that's really private to them so this is something we shouldn't reach out to.
I have to admit, I never get my mum anything for mother's day. Well, nothing but a card.

Once again, I'm going to ramble on about how wonderful THUKST is. Here, we have fans that want to thank the members' mothers, and people wanting to respect their privacy. It's all very well thought out and organised.
