I've only known them since April but I became instantly obsessed- learning about them was an amazing memory in and of itself, it was a complete culture shock for me because I had always only listened to country music and becoming obsessed with them changed a LOT of things, gave me a great outlet because where I live everyone is so close minded and I'm the most open minded person you;ll ever meet (terrifyingly so), so I fit in great.
Over the months slowly creeping my way into all areas of the fandom from the forums to fan fics. Spending my summer catching up on everything known about the boys to date. Introducing all my friends, my school, my family, everyone who came within sight of me to them.
Most of all though- the Atlanta concert. It was supposed to be me and three friends but only ended up being me and one other and we had the day and night of our lives between meeting so many amazing fans in line to the concert itself. Even passing out and having to be pulled out was worth it because we were front and center and it was breath takingly incredible. I'm still on a high from it and it was over a month ago.

I'll always remember discovering Tokio Hotel, and I suppose every day of my life afterwards has been wonderful. I've also found some nice friends through it. However, going to a concert or signing would be the BEST day of my life.

Gosh I have so many....
Parc des Princes, that was awesome!!! My mum buying me my first TH poster which came in a Spanish magazine! Joining here obv.=) Reading Sugar magazine summer 07 and seeing TH in there and for some reason I decided to look them up and from there I was obsessed! Sitting in lunch one day at school and when my fone rang (scream ringtone) one girl on my table shouting "OMG is that Tokio Hotel?!?!" and from there we were friends! LOL
And many more besides! =)

Oooh wow, this is a good thread! First would be the first night I discovered them which was watching the EMA's (2007)... I know I'm suuuch a late comer, but the obsession was instant lol Then after that, it was just an awesome rollercoaster! I joined here which was amazing, everyone was and is sooo so lovely, then last March I saw them live at the Bercy in Paris... best night of my life! I left on the monday morning, had the gig on the monday night, flew home on the last flight on tuesday and had to tutor a class first thing wednesday morning... wasn't pretty but soooo worth it Then finally, I think it'd have to be my trip to Berlin, I didn't meet them or anything but it was just so nice wandering around, seeing Bill in madame tussauds and going into the music shops and seeing loads of merch everywhere lol! But I agree with Pevalwen, the whole thing has been such a nice experience! It's so nice to discover a band who seem like lovely people and have the nicest fans to boot! Ok, I'm gonna mosie off now before I get too sappy =P xx

Obvious memories are finding the ST, Parc Des Princes, speaking to Tom at the EMAs ( and getting touched by him lol ), the Fan Walk and of course, the amazing fan party in Hamburg. Getting to give Tom a gift was something I couldn't even put into words. And of course, getting Bill's sig tattooed.
BUT, whenever I think about TH, it always comes back to when I first heard about them and how funny it was. It was such a simple thing, one comment, that if it hadn't been made, I wouldn't even know who they were!
I had a really good German friend on a board I used to run before coming here ( not TH ) Someone opened a thread called 'Loves and Hates'. So my mate posted a picture of Tom and said "can someone just kill this guy - I hate him!" LOL. Of course, I took one look at him and the rest is history ;D
( for the record - my friend that 'hated' Tom is not a mean guy. We all know Tom's talk about women is banter, but unless you understand that I guess it seems really arrogant and rude even. Dennis is a real nice guy, he doesn't like to hear men talking about women like that. And he sent me Vanity Fair, so I have forgiven that comment LOL! )
