Did you guys hear about the special show case Tokio Hotel are giving in Tokyo next month?! I’m still in denial. What does this mean „special show case“? Is it a whole Tokio Hotel concert (on a smaller scale of course)? They must be freaking kidding. The thing is I met with my friend from Tokyo last Monday (15th October). I’ve known her for more than 8 years now and I’ve always wanted to go to Japan for a visit but never managed to go because, you know, things happen, like finishing school, getting trained for a job/studying, then getting a job to earn some money etc. So when we met last week we were talking about the subject again saying that I really have to come to stay with her and see Tokyo. As I was buying my copy of i-D magazine that day I showed her the article and pictures of the guys and we talked a bit about them, so when the topic of visiting her came up again, I said: “You know what? I’ll come to Tokyo and visit you when Tokio Hotel give their first ever concert there.” Now I’m thinking, why exactly did I say that? Oh yeah, right… because I thought this happening would be AGES away! I cannot believe it. Surely the show case would’ve been announced even if I hadn’t said that but fancy the timing of me actually seeing Maki (my friend) again after three years of our last meeting and me actually saying that and then the show case being announced just the week after it all! This is so unfair and not enough time to plan that out… I mean I have to work etc.

Right now I'd give my left arm...and probably my right(!) to go to that showcase in Tokyo. It's just too far and too soon. I've always wanted to go to Japan and also I would love to see Tokio Hotel's first performance in Tokyo. I can't believe that it's such short notice. Nightmare. I suspect the 'showcase' means that it'll mostly be full of media and press. I may be wrong, but I'm not sure that the band have much of a fanbase in Japan yet (though I'm sure they'll love them). I just don't know that many fans from around there...anyone know any different?

I know, this short notice issue is really a nightmare! I'd love to be there... like probably every other fan too. ;D
Hm, I don't know about a fan base but there's at least one Japanese fan whose really excited right now. She commented one of your myspace bulletins, I believe. (I sent the RSG singles to another Japanese friend of mine last month but she doesn't live in Tokyo so I doubt she would go even if she liked the music which I don't know as I haven't heard back from her yet.)
Yeah Kiri, destiny teasing me. It's like one of those many times my friend tells me off for saying "what a lovely, sunny day" because it turns grey and cold.

I just got an email from my friend, Maki, and she said she got tickets for the two of us! Yay. I'm so excited. She also mentioned that the show case in Tokyo would be "all standing". Sounds like they're planning to quite fill up the place if they're not getting out the seats. I have no idea. Wait and see.

I do not know what to reply to that, dear Kiri! *lol*
I put that together from this site www.creativeman.co.jp/2007/tokio/index.html:I just love the way "Kaulitz" has those smiley kind of signs at the end. Smiley signs for cheery, happy guys and there's two of them like symbolising the twins. There's a slightly bigger one and a smaller one. One for the slightly older and one for the younger brother. ;D
