i would actually LOVE to go see them live in another country - it would be the best - preferably germany - i think they would be best in their native place. i think most bands are tbh.
dont have the slightest clue how i would pull that off though..
hints and pointers always welcome from anyone.
PM me please!

I casually mentioned to my mum the other day, how much I would like to visit where my family are from, which is Bonn (Germany). She very quickly picked up on what I was hinting and replied with a yes but banned any TH-ing whilst I was there *Grumpy Face*
But I will go one day, I got to Finland and by goth I'll get to Germany!!.

Ha ha. Good point, Claire. ;D In that dream up interview though they mentioned that they planned something special for the France concerts. Looks like you´re going to be in for a treat. I think you`re right. I read that Bill is planning to sing a song in French. That would be cool.

I think it´s not too far-fetched to guess he´ll sing a song in French. Durch den Monsun seems likely. Should be great. We´ll find out soon enough what exactly it is. Can´t wait to hear about it.

As I mentioned before I went to the Amsterdam concert and it was brilliant! *yay* Well, my friend and I got to the venue just after 3.30pm. There was already quite a queue and we went to its end to join the other fans but then we decided to sit down on a bench a bit further away. We just didn’t feel like queuing. *lazy us* ;D The queue was coming our way anyway it was far more relaxing to just sit there, eat something, chat and watch fans arriving. The queue was growing fast and the fans were in good spirits, chatting to their friends and parents. I was a bit surprised not to hear more foreign languages (all I could hear was Dutch though I know there were more fans from Germany e.g.). When we finally joined the queue we encountered a father and his daughter from Germany. She was really tiny (don’t know how old she was but quite young) and it was cute of her dad to take her there. Inside the venue we decided to go upstairs and stay there for the concert… just to have a better overview and avoid being squashed etc. The stage looked pretty impressive and the entire band used the space and different levels for moving around a lot. Well, all of them except for Gustav of course. It was fantastic to have the chance to see them perform on that stage and sing all the German songs I really wanted to hear. I was glad most songs were in German because that’s not very likely to happen at a UK show. Bill spoke a bit of Dutch. Only a little but fans always appreciate the effort. The band seemed to enjoy themselves a lot and everybody had a good time. Bill’s voice sounded amazing and I loved the more serious moments when he was quite emotional, singing on his knees. Some songs were in English which I thought was a good mix. Though when Bill announced Raise Your Hands I wished he would sing Wo sind eure Hände because I don’t really know the English lyrics. I think the intention was to sing it in English because Bill announced the English title but then he sang it in German. Maybe he couldn’t remember the beginning of the English verse in that split second where he had to start to sing. When Monsoon started he missed his cue and the guys had to play the beginning of the song again. Maybe he was a little thrown about what happened with Raise Your Hands before. I don’t know but I thought it was adorable although nobody of the band mentioned it (unlike e.g. dare I say Fightstar… when the drummer started the wrong song and the singer, Charlie, pointed it out and the crowd was cheering and clapping). I think little mess-ups like that just make bands and live performances more likeable. I loved it. I'm not too good with remembering details of concerts but it was a fantastic show and I’m very happy I could be there! Here’s the setlist:Übers Ende der Welt Reden Break Away Spring nicht Final Day Wo sind eure Hände Monsoon Wir sterben niemals aus Stich ins Glück Ich bin nich’ ich Scream Vergessene Kinder Leb’ die Sekunde Heilig Totgeliebt Encore #1In die Nacht Rette mich Encore #2Ich bin da (an deiner Seite) Oh, and I’m sorry but I don’t have any pictures… in case you were about to ask.

Awesome! Thanks for the info midori! I wish I could have been there (I was offered a ticket and bed), but with going to France, I could make both. I'm really glad to know the set-list in advance! I just like to know that *finally* I am going to get to see In Die Nacht live.
Oooooh, and Reden! And Wir sterben niemals aus, which is one of my all time favourites.
I'm excited now!

they're playing in Belgium tonight, but it has been sold out for ages, so I can't go... that really sucks you know, just knowing they're in Belgium this weekend and not being able to see them... well, at least I could watch the TMFawards yesterday where they won 4 (!) awards *woohoo* they were so amazed xD

Claire x I thought you might like to know about the setlist. ;D Yeah, exactly those were some of the German songs I was REALLY looking forward to hearing live... and Ich bin nich' ich. Wir sterben niemals aus is also one of my favourites and I was very excited when they played it. Shame you couldn't be in Amsterdam as well (I was also offered the ticket but no bed and was pretty much awake for 35 hours with only one and a half hours sleep the night before. The ticket was much more important than a bed though! ). Can't wait to read how it went for you in France.

Hi guys,
I'm back from France and trying to catch up with all my emails and messages! I'll be writing a review for the street team as soon as I can. I had a great time! TH were amazing! London was no preparation for the scale of the European shows and the craziness of the fans. And the WHOLE set in Nantes was in German, so that was awesome!
More soon. Hope all have been well.

It would be nice to add to my story, rescued, as I said I'm not too good with details and it's always interesting to read what others think about the same experience. We sure had a brilliant time, didn't we? ;D
Seems you were lucky with your concert taking place, Claire. Poor Bill being sick. I'm sure he feels awful about cancelling the concerts but the main thing is that he gets better soon and gets some rest. He needs his strength.
