Please note that the formal THUKST meet-up has been CANCELLED due to news that the red carpet is being cast by MTV. Forumers are still meeting up in Liverpool, but formal street team activities and plans are cancelled.
Please still meet-up with us if you will be in Liverpool! The meeting points will remain the same. However, please do not expect too much and remember that we will not be able to greet Tokio Hotel on the red carpet.
All the cool stuff below will be used at a future fan meet-up. Things we will probably still do are:
* A little bit of flyering, balloons, etc, since we have a ton of them. LOL.
* Chalking the logo
* Making t-shirts (since we've already bought them!)
* Cheering the fanwalkers (if we can get near them)
All other things (flashmob, tattoos, etc, will be resurrected at the next meet-up).
Finally, thanks to MTV for ensuring that even on the rare occasion TH make it into our country, we can't get anywhere near them.

Tokio Hotel UK Street Team Meet-Up - Part 3!
Yes, that's right, time for the next Tokio Hotel UK Street Team Meet-Up and this time it's in Liverpool.
The meet-up is happening in two phases. Phase one is pre-6th November, which will involve promoting, promoting, promoting. Phase two is on the 6th November, in liverpool, on the red carpet.
What you need to do
If you are attending the EMAs in Liverpool we want you at our meet-up! Even if you're apprehensive about joining our activities, just come along and say hai! But, even better, come and join in. We're getting busy on the 5th November to promote TH all day and all night. We won't stop! We want to make sure that on the 5th November, the day before the EMAs, everyone in Liverpool, locals, visitors and media folk, have heard of Tokio Hotel!

Now for the details.
Meeting point
All meetings points for this meet-up are the grassy area beside the Jury's Inns Hotel, Liverpool (Keel Wharf
Liverpool, L3) Please see the below map for an idea of proximity to the Echo Arena.
Remember: We do not a) live in Liverpool and b) know how the area might change due to a large event being held there. Therefore, please ensure that you take the contact mobile telephone number that will be posted on our forum a week before the meet-up and that you keep an eye out for anyone directing you elsewhere. We make every effort to provide you with accurate information, but we're not 100% sure on the layout of this one.
Activities and itinerary
Phase One - Wednesday, 5th November
9am - till late

1) Flashmob
It is the intention of THUKST to organise and participate in flashmobds around Liverpool on the 5th November. If you don't know what a flashmob is, please read up about it here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_mob
We NEED numbers for this. The activity will be very simple, but we need you to sign up. All you need is impecable timing and a customised umbrella. Yes, we are doing a Monsoon flashmob and we want you to take part.

Anyone, as many people as possible, we need numbers! So if you will be in Liverpool and you are a Tokio Hotel fan, from anywhere in the world, sign-up, it's gonna be a blast!
Schedule:
Flashmob #1 - 5th November AM (Liverpool 1)
Flashmob #2 - 5th November PM (Main high street)
Flashmob #3 - 5th November PM (Area around official EMA hotels for the media)
2) Flyering (and other things)
This will be leg work, but it will be fun!
In between the flashmobbing, 5th November in Liverpool will be about promoting! We'll be getting on the streets of Liverpool and telling people about TH. You know how we love this!
Liverpool has a strict policy against flyering in the city centre for local businesses, so we have to be very careful about how we do this. In addition to flyers, we will also be giving out TH balloons and TH sweets/lollipops. We are spreading out our promo items so that we are not creating a mess. Furthermore, we will ONLY give out flyers to those that want them - no pushy sales tactics! This activity will be closely moderated by the admin and if at any point we feel that we are not adhering to local rules, this will be stopped.
3) Liverpool University
Prior to the EMAs, Liverpool University student radio station will receive a goodie bag. In it they will receive lots of goodies, information and a TH CD. We will be asking them to play Tokio Hotel on their radio station for the week of the EMAs. On the 5th November we will follow this up by flyering students as they leave lectures. Lets bag those freshers!
4) Chalk
We will be leaving chalk sybmbols around Liverpool of the TH logo. Chalk is safe to use as it is not a permanent mark. Do not use any other material!
Phase two - Thursday 6th November (the day of the EMAs!)
Time: Crack of dawn (exact time TBA)
Meeting point (and then you can join us through out the day on the red carpet)
We are sad to say that nearly every member of our street team, that we're aware of, did not get tickets for the EMAs through the official raffle that was organised. That means some high end red carpet action! We will be on the red carpet from the crack of dawn (exact time TBA). However, being in a red carpet queue does not mean we can't street team and have fun!
1) Balloons
We will be giving everyone a TH balloon to wave in the air. When you arrive, come and get one, because we could run out early! Make sure you wave them around so that TH fans are visible!
2) Banners
Everyone should bring a banner for the red carpet. No exceptions! You will want to because we are holding a very special COMPETITION.
The THUKST admin will be eyeing up everyone's banner because the very best banner on the EMAs red carpet will win a prize - It's a Tokio Hotel bag and it looks like this:
So make sure you bring a pretty banner because we're gonna be giving that away!
3) T-shirts
We will be spending the queuing time making t-shirts! We want you to bring along a plain white t-shirt so that you can make your own customised THUKST t-shirt. We'll have fabric spray paints and stencils and marker pens to make your own cool t-shirt. Well, what else are you going to do all day?
4) Tattoos
Ever wanted a TH tattoo? Well now you can. Our very own Razzle will be tattooing (henna, of course) anyone up on the red carpet. Not just TH fans, but everyone. There will be various band logos to choose from and we want to see as many fans of other artists getting tattoos as possible. Why, you ask? Because while they're sat there getting Jonas Brothers henna tattooed on their arm, they will have to listen to us tell them all about Tokio Hotel and will be sent off with a flyer. Cool, huh?
5) Cheering the fanwalkers
We are so PROUD to announce that Lauren Solman (our Liz) was chosen to be one of the 10 music fans from the UK doing the MTV Fanwalk this year. Liz will be representing Tokio Hotel for a week of walking, but along the way she will be interviewed and filmed. Liz will wear Tokio Hotel merchandise all the way and carry a banner in her backpack for Tokio Hotel. We're so excited for her and we will be there to cheer her along as she arrives in Liverpool with the other 100 fanwalkers.
Bring a banner for Liz!
If you are bringing a Tokio Hotel banner, please also bring a Liz banner. It could even go on the otherside. We want to make some NOISE for Liz when she arrives, worn out and looking fabulous and ready for the EMAs!
