Aw, Amiee - can you set your browser to not load pictures? That will help you load the page and leave a comment. You should be able to do it via tools and options on most web browsers.

Right, some of you might have noticed that your THUKST admins are back from Hamburg. I hope you missed us. *lol* Ha ha, let me start with a short post. If I'd write more about the fan party it would take too long and I'm a bit tired. The party was awesome! We had lots of fun and partied with our friends from the Swedish Street Team. I haven't read anything on the internet yet, except for a few youtube comments and some people were complaining or whining... or having opinions that are a bit hard to have when you weren't actually there. I suppose it has partly to do with what people were expecting. Never mind. We really had fun. I definitely had! ;D Sure, there were a few lows, the DJ being one. He repeated a few songs during the evening and sometimes his mixing got me a bit annoyed but well. There were a lot of different tastes in music to cover I guess. Anyway, Smells like Teen Spirit, Basket Case, Metallica and AC/DC to the rescue and not only did they play a song by The Bloodhound Gang but it was also The Ballad of Chasey Lain. I thought that was pretty hilarious. You know... Dear Chasey Lain I wrote to explain I'm your biggest fan I just wanted to ask Could I eat your a**? Write back as soon as you can
And not to forget:
P.S.Mom and Dad this is Chasey Chasey this is my mom and dad Now show ‘em them ...
;D
Best part, however, was when - finally - after randomly playing two Tokio Hotel songs while the band were still at the party the DJ played more TH songs including live versions (from the Zimmer 483 live CD) after the band had left! *YAY* Good times! Unfortunately not too many fans (considering how many there were before) stayed after the band had left but the ones that were still there rocked out hard to the TH songs and were loud! I looooved it sooo much. It was so much fun to hear the songs like that and actually having space and people around you that just enjoyed it and gave it all. Awesome.
The drinks were free and they really made an effort with having TH symbols projected across the venue, having stickers and flyer cards just for the event. The queuing outside was one of the lows, we were pretty much frozen when we got in but it was ok. Nothing too bad. By the time I reached the signing table I could almost feel my feet again.
We had an embroided stocking for each of the guys filled with mainly sweets. I can't remember who had whose... maybe the others will add their "signing story" as well. I had the stocking for Gustav. They looked like this:
So yeah, the signing table with the guys was on the way before we entered the party room. I didn't have anything to get signed and as we got a bit of an idea how this all was supposed to work, Claire gave a couple of posters to me to get signed (hm, keep your eyes peeled, guys... ) and I was sorting through them and folded them the way so it was easier to get signed. Then Nash asked me to take a pic of her while she got her sigs and gave me her camera. I epically failed though as I tried to get Nash and at least one of the guys in a pic. I didn't have a good view and could always only see Nash's back. As Nash got to the end of the table I rushed back to that side to give her her camera back as I had the posters, the stocking for Gustav and my little handbag and wasn't doing too well with coordinating everything. Then I got back in line, behind Liz and when I got to Bill I put the poster for him to sign on the table and watched as he signed Liz' arm (*rofl* she made Tom wait!). Then I noticed the pile of flyer cards of the event he had next to him and thought I'd like one so I asked him for one. I don't even remember whether I did this in German or English... maybe a mixture? I was more than once language confused those past days. However, he got me a card from the pile and signed it and shoved it in Tom's direction after the poster. Tom, I don't really remember because he was really fast and just pushing things along. Georg, I don't really remember either because I had a poster swap there and was paying attention that all my stuff travelled along. Gustav signed and as I was grabbing my stuff I remembered that I was still holding the Xmas stocking for him. So I just flung it on the table in front of him and said it was for him (again, no idea what language I used ) and he looked at me and smiled and his eyes were sparkling. I just looked at them and thought that he really got beautiful eyes like that and should smile more often.
For some weird reason pretty much the whole THUKST signing was filmed by some other fan. Shame all the youtube people don't seem to like our dresses. *lol* Obviously we should've dressed differently because the main event was quite clearly about the few seconds in front of the band and not the actual party. We seemed to have gotten some attention though... Nash - Mika - Claire - Razzle - Liz - me

The party was going really well and we all had something to drink and danced. It was good. Then the guys appeared and as you can imagine everybody wanted to only get pics from there on. After Bill held a little speech and raffled some prizes they sat down in their area and fans would just stick to that and all stare in that direction. There was pretty much no movement in the party anymore. It turned from a party to a TH in a fish bowl freak show. It was to be expected but after a while it annoyed me a bit because that's not the point of having a party. People should dance and have fun and not be glued to one point starring. I started to feel a bit bad about it in some way. However, I tried not to pay too much attention and just kept on dancing and enjoying the music. After a while Gustav got up and started to dance to Lady GaGa's Just dance, trying to get the movement back into the party. Ha ha. I loved him for doing this! That was really good of him and it also worked a bit. After that the atmosphere was a bit more party-like again. Hehe. Bless him.

That's it from me for now. I don't have any pics to upload but the others will probably post some.

Hey Mel! Are you Melissa? The British fan that won the tickets through the draw? Glad to hear that you enjoyed the party. I thought it was really fab. Sure, a performance would've been nice but as you said we can't complain. After all it was a party and a pretty good one I'd say. He he, Bill attacking Tom? I really hope they also enjoyed the party a bit.

I will post my pics and review soooon. But, I just wanna say that I really enjoyed my weekend in Hamburg. So so much. I'm glad to hear that you did too, Mel! It was a great party. They did an excellent job and anyone that's moaning is just expected far too much from the phrase "appearance".
More later.

Perfect word Razzle - it was epic! I had the best time ever. ;D
I don't have time to write everything and do pics and stuff now. I have a 1pm appointment to get Bill's name tattooed LOL. I thought about it all night and decided it will eventually be part of a much bigger design. It'll look sh*t until then, but I need to get it done now - it's fading fast!
But, gotta talk about the signing before I go. Just hilarious! I bumbled about in front of Bill, yes, made Tom wait, lol, nearly fan girl'd when Bill signed my arm and managed to give Tom his gift that I got him without any hitches - thank god!
Anyway, suffering the effects of two Kaulitz smiles, Tom cuteness, and the feel of Bill fresh on my arm lol, I arrived in front of Georg and Gusti a little flustered. Time for my major boo boo of the night. I whip out and shove, under Georg's nose, a big photo of Vanity Fair Bill, wrapped seductively around the gibson! LOL!!!! I don't think I even noticed until he was looking at me kinda weird! And then it was just a series of "oh god, I'm so sorries" until I was outta there!
Fabulous! ;D
Anyway, more later, and pics and stuff.....
Mel, great that you were there! Shame we didn't meet you before! But so glad you had a good time. ;D
PS .....
If anyone tells any of you it wasn't awesome - don't believe them - they're lying or just b*tching for the hell of it. It was amazing!
