Not really. They are one of those "Popstar" bands, you know like "Pop Idol". I haven't seen much of them or listened to much music by them but they seem to be quite popular in Germany. I always caught them on TV when I was over there. I found them annoying. Nothing special, ok singers, but feel a bit too fake to me. It's more about looking pretty, if you know what I mean. Don't really like them.
There's some serious competition, I think we have to vote a lot to get our guys a Comet. E.g. Bushido fans voted non-stop even during nights for the Echo.

I don't know until when it's possible to vote (can't find anything about it) but the event will be on 23rd May in Oberhausen. It will take place in the same arena where the last two Tokio Hotel live DVD concerts got filmed. Oliver Pocher (TH were guests on his show Rent a Pocher a few times during DdM & Schrei times) will host it together with some Viva mods and Bushido will be the VIP reporter mingling with guests.
As far as I can tell you can vote as many times as you like. You just use the "back" arrow and vote again.

I just listened to Monrose or whatever they are called and they arent that great - well personally they aint too great.

Everyone, we really need to step up our voting for The Comets as much as we can - while we still can! I know it`s not the most fun thing in the world to do lol, but the guys really need us all to get voting if they are going to win the awards. So please everyone, do what you can ;D
