Hey guys,
I've been browsing the internet and the Rick Astley fans are auto voting. They have a script and it auto votes. With the numbers of them getting excited right now, we won't be able to beat them on clicks alone.
Therefore, I am going to play them at their own game. This is their macro to auto vote for the EMAs.

If you need any help, let me know. You should be able to run it in the background. Don't overdo it, but have it on maybe when you're browsing the Internet.

That thread is winding me up now 
They all keep going on about how Rick is a nice guy and made this great song. SO WHAT?!!! As I've just commented on there - if every single person who has ever made a catchy tune, and happens to be a nice guy, should be nominated, then there is no point in having such an award in the first place!

I have a question
and feel free to critize me for asking this.. but im majorly confused
But since its the European music awards....
Why is only 1 act (and rick.. i think) the only european nominations...
I mean The VMAs are general, they arent classifid as the american VMA awards
When we have our australian Version.. there is only ever 1 american artist nominated... If that..
So why at the European music awards... there are barely any europeans nominated....

It's all about voting, so if fans vote for an American artist, that's who gets nominated. Such is the way it is. But, I agree, we should be acknowledging European acts.

they dont win...
cause the australians back the australians...

When I first posted, I really didn't expect people to be serious. I get voting Rick Astley for the sake of rickrolling. But, to defend voting for him as a serious matter and because they things he's worthy since he's a modest, humble man? Give me a freaking break. Rickrolling is funny. Thinking Rick Astley is the Best Act Ever, not so much. And I STILL think it's MTV that fixed it so they could get some media attention and more viewers. Hopefully they will award it to someone more deserving. Claire |

I just wanna ask that if you do auto vote, you don't do it constantly. There is always a danger that constant auto voting will be picked up and dismissed. So vote the regular way too. If Rick Astley fans want to take that risk, that's their perogative, but IMO we shouldn't. (I believe someone said autovoting by Katie Perry fans for the VMAs was dismissed, but I don't know if that's true.)

What also bothers me, is that whenever the nominees are announced, on e.g the radio, Tokio Hotel are constantly missed. Its like "huh". me and Amiee were discussing this last night.
