Hi Street Team,
This is an important post, so please read.
Some fans and street teamers in the UK have put together a petition regarding TH in the UK. It is not a demanding petition, but is a formalised way for fans to get their voice heard.
This is really important, so I am supporting it through the UK street team. I have agreed to pass the petition directly to Tokio Hotel's record label execs and their management team. Into the hands of the people that make the decisions.
There are many things regarding TH in the UK that are not as simple as they seem. The fans' voices are the most important thing right now and I urge all fans in the UK to sign the petition. The record label, the management, they all need to know that there are fans in the UK that are supporting them.
It's very easy for fans elsewhere to accuse the UK of rejecting Tokio Hotel, but please don't. As fans we have done everything in our power to promote them, build a fanbase, build a community and a place where Tokio Hotel is welcome. The truth is that Ready, Set, Go received no promo, no airplay, no TV spots. The video was played on a few cable channels because we worked damn hard to get it on them. No one in the UK really had a chance to discover them. And even if they did, the single wasn't stocked in half the shops our street teamers tried to buy it in.
We tried. And we will continue trying.
So I urge you, sign the petition, show the boys your love and support. Read the text and if you agree, make sure you sign it!

P.S. Please please repost this petition on your myspaces, blogs, communities, forums...everywhere you may know a fan in the UK that wants to make their voice heard. Feel free to use the banner.
