MTV EMAs - Support Liz!

Nothing to report so far, but I've just been sent this on Myspace, by another applicant.


so how's the fanwalk? Today I got a call from our local MTV and the guy said that on October 10th I should come to their place and there will be a competition where 50 Lithuanians are invited and they must do 3 tasks:
1.Scream their lungs out (like a real fan lol)
2.sing something
3.make a fan poster.

stupid commercials, right? :/
are there any stupidities in UK or in other countries?

Sing something? OMG. Please don't let them ask me to sing! I might like it - but I never said I was any good. ( infact, I am incredibly bad! ) Eeek. LOL

I'm feeling concerned about this now. I mean, there's only four days ( one of which is a Sunday! ) left until the final 100 are announced. Surely I would have heard something by now?

I've heard alot of people from other countries talking about their calls, but admittedly no one from the UK yet. Having said that, I haven't really spoken to any UK applicants anyway.

I just feel as though they wouldn't cut it this fine. What do you guys think

Although I suppose it's not completely impossible that they might call on say, Thursday and say to go somewhere on the Saturday ... hmm. Dunno. I'm impatient lol. The suspense is killing me!

I have no idea what's going on, Liz. They don't seem to have contacted anyone about the ballot for buying tickets either.

Urgh. I'm getting quite stressed about the EMAs.

I know. It's pretty frustrating.

I have to assume that I didn't make it onto the Fan Walk now I mean, it's Friday night and I've heard nothing, so I can't have made it. They're announcing the 100 on Monday, so I would've heard by now. To be honest, I'm surprised, not to mention gutted. I had so many people voting - you guys who did, I'm so sorry, I really thought we'd done enough.

I've been trying to find some other UK people who did get on - but so far I can't. Surely they won't all be from other countries? I mean, it is happening in the UK after all! I dunno, I thought I did ok. I'm just really, really dissappointed not to have got a call up for at least the next round.

And yeah - nothing on the ticket ballot either. Gah.

Oh, and just to really rub salt into the wounds, I just got a message from the girl who I think voted against me, saying she had her casting today!

Just out of interest - I spoke to Emma today - a UKer who finished 9th overall and first for the UK. She hasn't heard a word either!

Thanks, but I'm afraid it's highly unlikely that I got on - they made it clear it's being done on a casting process - and even the Italian girls who finished up top had their's on Friday.

It won't be 100% definate until monday, but I'm not holding my breath!
