mtv.com is the american MTV website, that's all
the 'overdrive' feature in particular doesnt play in countries other than the one it was meant for
eg Overdrive on the french MTV website can only be seen if you're in Freance, the same way that the one on the italian or gernam or spanish etc can only be seen in those countries
same goes for mtv.co.uk! there's videos restricted to the UK only
