A while back on the Skye boards there was the 'Skye sweetnam appeal' people would sign up and when they get an email called 'buy Billy s now' they would buy it on the internet so it would get to number one. They had enough people signed up so it was destined to get a no5 in the Canadian charts but the people who were organising it had a petty childish arguement so it wasnt to be.
Basicly what i'm saying is maybe yall should have a Tokio hotel appeal if you want the record company to notice that they might have some success in UK. like get people to sign up and then buy some song by them off iTunes or Napster or something. of course there isnt enough people on here to get them in the top20 but if you get everyone you know in on it and buy the song twice etc them maybe there is some chance. and with hardly anyone buying music legally these days maybe there is a chance. Also i've noticed that there are lots more UK fans then you might know about i've seen loads on Bebo and Myspace. I mean yall probably dont know who Skye sweetnam is and she was going to have a no5 if the organisers wernt acting like you know whats. And thats saying something with what a little work might do might get them chart succes. You can go ahead and critisise the idea and tell me how much it wont work, but like i said, its just an idea you might want to think about.

Hey, sweetie, just moving this over to the ideas section, k? K,. thoughts on the idea. It's a good one in principle. We've thought smoething similar in the past. Trouble is, if we just use the people here, we won't make an impact. When you start to introduce other things like chain appeals, it's not so easy when people need to pay. Aaaaanyway, it's certainly something we'll think about in time. Possibly after the EMAs this year, if we get another rush of recruits.  |

Okay, I love this idea because basically I came up with the same idea myself last week! However, as admin we had a very long discussion about the practicalities of doing it. Ultimately, it would be THE thing that would Tokio Hotel noticed in this country. If we could chart a song by them, even just the top 40, but we'd need on average 4000 copies of the song sold to get them to number 40.
After discussing it we believe that this community is not quite there yet. (Not just us, but the UK community as a whole.) We have another fan action to launch after the Comets and then we may look at the idea again. But, yeah, although I love the idea and it's my ultimate goal for the street team, I don't think we can achieve it. And failing would just be too embarrassing.

^ hhahah that seriously made me laugh And hozza crap your from SSF? So am I! I didn't know there was other TH fans on there (sorry OT but I canny believe theres another TH and SS fan  ) And also I remember that appeal too, shame it didn't work out though, I actually made the video for it. |

yeh im on there but i cant log back in because i forgot my username i only remember my display name, but i made a new account but i cba to go through with it :/
anyway back on topic i knew yall would probably say there isnt enough people to do it, but it was just a thought, hopefully soon there will be enough UK fans to go through with it

why cant the TH record company give us a crappy buildin a load of cds and a bit dosh get the place sorted out and sell the cds personaly i have never seen a cd company that focuses on one band it could be more then just th cds we could do all sorts off th merch think bout it come on we cud all help and do a bit work now and then
