Tokio Hotel UK Street Team Fan-Meet Report
26th April 2008

London
On Saturday 26th April 2008, around 150 UK Tokio Hotel fans gathered in London for the second UK Street Team Fan Meet-Up.
The day began at HaverstockSchool, Camden, where fans gathered to meet each other, take their raffle ticket, map and name badge, and wait in excitement for the first part of the day - watching the Zimmer 483 Live DVD on the big screen.
Getting registered
Meeting friends from the forum for the first time.
Before long it was time for the first part of the day – fans took a bag of sweets, grabbed a seat on the bleachers and settled in to watch Tokio Hotel live on the big screen. As soon as the DVD started everyone was screaming, and soon the crowd of noisy Tokio Hotel fans was drawing inquisitive locals to pop their head around the door and take a look.
Filling up the hall
Waiting for the show to begin
Unable to sit still during a concert, fans took to the floor, dancing up a storm and throwing their hands in the air for Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg…at one point we even spotted a conga line!
Dancing and singing
Doing the conga!
Meanwhile, the TH TV cameraman for the day attracted a lot of attention and girls went wild for him as he caught their screaming and dancing on camera.

Unable to resist the lure of Tokio Hotel…or perhaps free sweeties…the kids of Haverstock School soon joined the party and danced around to Tokio Hotel while their perplexed parents stood by and gazed curiously at the band on the screen that was causing such riotous behaviour by the mere presence of a DVD.
After a brief technical hitch during the European tour documentary, the time at Haverstock School was over and it was time to move, en masse, to Primrose Hill for games and food and prizes!
The walk to Primrose Hill was lined with posh people eating lunch in the rare London sunshine, staring open mouthed at 150 young people making their way to the park. Flyers were handed out, 'have you heard of Tokio Hotel?' was whispered from one table to the next as fans took up the mantra – "Tokio Hotel: It's an I not a Y, Google it!"

Finally getting there!
Once at Primrose Hill, there was no time to rest because it was time for games! With awesome prizes to be won (Vanity Fair, Blender, Bravo poster mag, official poster mags, t-shirt, posters, stationary, mugs, lanyards and more!) everyone was eager to participate.
From 'TH Twister' (Left Hand on Bill!):
To the Jumbie Piñata (Poor Jumbie was massacred in the end, with a pile up of TH fans trying to get to the badges and sweets)
Before the piñata was massacred!
To "Pin the Star on Bill" and "Pin the Tongue Stud on Bill":
"Pass the Parcel":
Quizzes and general hanging out:
After the fun on Primrose Hill (and running behind schedule by 1.5 hours!), it was time to take to the streets of Camden Town and give out flyers, buy some merchandise and tape some interviews.

Then it was time to go home. (Until next time, in Liverpool!)
