AHH! -runs to msn to get all american contacts to buy the album- NOOOOOOOO! This isn't good -sigh- Maybe the billboards will help on thursday? I mean... it's a hard country to crack and I'm guessing that not many stores have their CD yet.. What's the download chart looking like?

Actually, all the stores have their CD. Hot Topic, Best Buy, etc. And you can get it online at all the obvious retailers.
I can't believe after all the hype and promotion and even having TH on TV, they didn't get into the top 50. Lets cross fingers for the Billboards.

All stores have their CD?! Ack! Well I know one girl that I talk with on MSN, is going to buy the album, but when she manages to get some money together. -crosses fingers- Yep, lets just hope the billboards help them out!
otherwise I sit here depressed waiting for more UK action

Final numbers are in and Tokio Hotel reached #37 in the chart. The ~official~ Billboard chart should be released tomorrow, but at the moment, according to ukmix.org, they are #37.
Freaking yeah! That's really decent since I was worried they wouldn't even make top 50! I'm just really glad for the boys.

# 37 tastes sweet, especially after the scare of them maybe not making the top 50. I agree, I bet they're happy. *yay*

#37.. That's not to bad! Infact! That's awesome! It's only 2 places below what they were! Looks like they could conquer the US and then head for us ;D

According to the official Billboards chart, which is really the only chart worth noting in the US, Tokio Hotel came in at #39!
YAY for the boys!
I also think this will help them with the UK market. Eventually.

of course every bit of promo and reputation they build alll over the world and especially in America will help very much with the UK, I mean Im sure there are people in the UK especially critics bla bla bla that keep just as much an eye on America, it may be annoying to believe, but yes this is for our own good ¬¬ lol
well done boysss ! That is really really good entery for American charts!

Does anyone know how many copies of Scream they sold in Canada the first week? I know they charted at #6 there and only #39 in the U.S., but I'm curious what that means in terms of units.
I think they sold something over 16,000 records in the U.S. to hit 39.

yeah i think its really unfair. i live in Canada and i have the Canadian version of Scream and we only have 1000 Oceans and a live performance of Monsoon from Milian, Italy. and when i bought my CD at HMV, i also got a free TH poster. But the US has Raise Your Hands, Durch Den Monsun, and Live Every Second!
