i am really really upset about their new album in the US it has so many extras including Raise your hands which in German is the song Wo sind eure hande (my favourite)
Tokio Hotel are letting us down again! i hope they do the same for us soon as they did for the US

Tokio Hotel are not letting us down by releasing an album in America! It's the UK record label that let us down (and the band!) by not getting their act together and not having released the album here yet.
Yes, it's a bit annoying that Raise your hands is a bonus on one of the American versions when it was supposed to be a UK bonus song but you have to look at it like this. This song isn't the newest. In fact the English version is about a year old so it's about time it gets properly released somewhere. I'd rather have it out and about than lying around somewhere and catching even more dust. I love this song and want to listen to it. We still have to wait for a UK release for Scream which we are doing rather patiently but that doesn't mean that the rest of the worldwide fans should have to be forced to wait with us for Raise your hands. At least it gets released now. ;D
Fingers crossed that Scream does really well in the USA just like it did in Canada!

I can only agree with what Susi said.
Let`s wait to see what the UK release brings with it, before we talk about being let down! Upsetting as it is that we have to wait longer than everyone else, we can`t keep taking everything they do in other countries personally.
Try to remember that the US activity and album release is about the US, not about sticking it to the UK! We want them to do really well there, so they can come to us happy and confident ;D

WOAH! Hold up! We already had these songs... so how can it be a let down? When they finally release the UK album,.. They may have had a bunch of new songs out and we would get them... most likely. The sooner the US finishes, the sooner they can start on the UK with a confidence boost...

I know that this thread wasn't really for this, but in case anyone is interested, Scream was #4 at the end of day yesterday on the Itunes chart for the USA.
The Billboard chart is the most important, but this is looking good.
Final note for UK fans - there is no way that Tokio Hotel won't be desperate to make that album a success in the UK as well. We're practically the only country they haven't topped yet. I'm sure that they will refocus here once the album and excitement in the USA dies down. After all, it will haunt them forever in articles and interviews if they don't turn the UK around.

Nice one claire, that's exactly what i think they'll do. there will be no sense of achievemnt for them if they just give up on thr UK, so they won't. they finish up with America, and then put all their time and effort into promoting themselves here, and releasing an album. seeing as we are part of europe, it should ben pretty high on their proirities, shouldn't it? like, there would be no happiness for topping america if they can't top a country in their own continent, right? maybe i'm chatting a load of bullshxt...

Nah, you`re not. If there`s one thing TH are - it`s ambitious. And they know there`s a growing fanbase here. No way they`d be satisfied to sit back and leave us unconquered!
I`m happy things are looking good in US statistically ... hype is one thing - but it means nothing if the record doesn`t sell. So this is good news - thanks Claire.

i can only agree with what you guys are saying plus when they will come back and break the UK they can feel even more proud of themselves cos in a way it was a bit more challenging than in other countries! so, one more great achievement to add to the list! ^^

It will be embarressing for them if they don't try the UK again! The UK does have pretty high standards of music and I think with a bit more promotion they will be well on their way to winning over the UK, but until then, they need sucess in the US to give them confidence in attempting the UK again.
No matter how much I hate them being in the US, it's probably a good thing they are if it means the UK will be the only place left.. And with the UK being one of the biggest music markets along with the US...things look hopeful (:
Could I say UK anymore?

I have a slight discomfort in me that they won't bother with us. I want it to go away! I know they will though, Hopefully. They have to make pure success here. ;D It will also make us proud, we (have/will have) helped!

Woo, that's great news about itunes, Claire! Let's hope the Billboard Charts will look just as good. *fingers crossed*
I agree that a success in America will make them more confident to come back to the UK again (this and the knowledge that they've got a growing fan base here). That Scream does well in the USA is also important for us not only for them because yes, it will leave the UK to conquer and they will want this and not the "failure" hanging over their heads forever. That's one of the reasons why media always pick up on it because it's pretty much the only "failure" they have to report about when it comes to TH and that's what they like so much about it. There's no way the band and their management wouldn't want to change this. They'll be back, not only to erase the "failure" but also for us, their fans! ;D
