Street Team One Year Anniversary Memories Thread

OMG where to start:
I remember sitting up from like 9pm til like midnight ish on the blog post for the TH lottery, and meeting Dynah and Stan there. And talking to them all night and us being like 'why havent they posted this number yet? gosh they're taking a while' lol only to find out the lottery had in fact happened we hadn't won a thing, but we were so confused as to how none of the three of us got the post. and i ended up messaging claire. But that was fun cos i made some friends.

I remember when I actually met Dynah at the first meet up - that was so much fun. Cos not only did I meet Dynah, I met Fereshte and Anna (Kiri) which was fun. Cos we were in the same group for the treasure hunt and we all ran around covent garden shrieking.

In London, there's those bicycle things with the mesh seats and you pay the guy to drive you round in a little carriage on the back of his bike. So we did, and we were like 'take us to the tokyo diner' and then he did. We said to him, stay here we'll be right back, and we went to go get cinema listings. Came back and he was gone, then I thought I spotted him, started shouting at this guy who stopped his bike thing, then the one behind him didnt stop in time and I nearly caused like a pile up in Leicester Square. I was like Sorry. =/

And I'm so pleased I've kept in touch with everyone. =]

Then on the lottery I also started talking to Am, who actually won the lottery one of the times. and we talk on msn and send letters and little things to each other. And end up talking about hot germans for a long time =] She lives in Sweden. Shes closer - Damn! =[ lol

And then theres Sien (sikoinna). I can't actually remember how we got talking actually. It had something to do with myspace. But since then we've stayed in contact, and dont talk as much as I'd like to, mainly cos we don't catch each other at the right times lol. But we have of course the coolest thing ever together: Tokio Hotel - Invading Britain and Belgium! =]] That's our TH myspace, and we have group with the same name too. So get talking to us on there! =]

When Fereshte comes back to the UK we're hoping to hang out again. Will be fun times. I'm really excited. I do miss that girly.

Thats my bulk memories. Should I have a brainwave, I shall post again lol.

my memories of TH start back in June when first found the band and then the street team (i think it was back then)
i cant believe it has been a year!!!!
wow doesn't time fly
ive had my disappointments over the year... no album...no gigs (they did have one which was too far away)...the single doing badly in the charts,,,and worst of all my favourite magizine Kerrang! slagging off the boys off and giving them a bad review
it may have been a difficult year, especially for you Claire, but the hardest part was convincing my friends that Tokio Hotel is top quality music and out of the many i have only one of them agreed...despite all the downs,,,,

i really appreciate all the hard work you (Claire) and others have put i into the Street Team to make it all worth while

so my memories....




I remember doing so much research on TH when i first found them and watching like EVERY single video of them on youtube over and over again. pretty much living on the computer!!

I remember discovering this forum on the 31st of october 2007 then having to go out before i could join! then a few days later i did

I remember at first, when i used to post post post like crazy! aha. when there wernt too many of us

I remeber going to tesco and buying a lot of arty stuff to make my oragami for the tokyo show. and getting glitter all of the carpet

I remember making the ST my homepage on the old tinternet
so i could be online as soon as i logged on! (im rather sad like that lol!)

I remember the arrival or Skye, Kraig etc. and being happy about all the new members

I remember when Salma added me on msn, and just her being so enthusiatsic and excitable. lolol.

I remember my first convo with robyn. lol! about what was the *moshiest* gig we'd ever been to! lololol. and me deciding it was alexisonfire. and then her being all crazily shocked that i was younger than her

I remember when i was on the ST myspace, and seeing i was a top friend! lol, i was well chuffed

I remeber when nash asked me to help run the fansite aha. it madeee me very smiley all day!

I remember when i met robyn in camden! lolol. and me getting all worried because i couldnt find her. and then us buying our hoodies and meetin famous people (Y) her camera was covered in chocolate

I remeber the MU!!!! because it was just amamamamamazing/ lololol. and one of the bestest days ever.

i remeber talking to kiah with robyn and nini. ahahaha. what a pisshead

so many memorieeees and im so grateful to all you guys for giving me them (Y) THUKST is like no other, its a right little community and i love each and every on of you loadss because youre what make it so special. thankyou guys for everything. and claire of course, i know ii say this alot, but you are incredible and thankyouthankyouthankyou. for all the work you put in, and just being so great (Y) ill never forget you guys! ive gained some amazing friends from this forum your alll the bestest.

Oh god, so many things...

-Meeting Claire and some of the other girls at the Tokio Hotel gig in Islington

-Being asked to join the ST in June

-Putting together pictures of 'English things' for the welcome dvd for the guys that went with the little ST bear

-Emailing the other European Street Teams to see how they all organised theirs...in Italian. LOL.

-Claire's Tokio Hotel tarot card interview....I loved that we finally got Bill to answer whether or not he paints his toenails. haha. <3

-Getting to know all the people here on this forum!

I have 4 favourite memories of the Street Team.
1 - Finding the street team myspace, that must have been one of the happiest days of my life. Discovering I wasn't a freak that liked a band that no one else liked. I finally found other people who also liked Tokio Hotel.
2 - Voting for the EMAs so much I got behind on my school work. Voting continuously at school and home, and then screaming and crying and not being able to breathe properly for the rest of the night after Tokio Hotel won an award.
3 - Discovering how big and amazing the street team as on 26th April. I already knew that it was the best streeet team ever, but, just watching how everyone got along so well after only talking on the internet, it was amazing. It reminded me of when I met my brother for the first time ever, there was just a connection as if we had known each other all along. The street team is a real family
4 - Not really a street team memory, but I tihnk it kind of counts. Yesterday going into a shop at the metro centre, and the man in the shop coming up and asking me questions about Tokio Hotel because I had a TH shirt on. A girl had went in and asked him to order her one, but he couldn't find one. I just think it's amazing how I could discover other fans by accident, and how so many opportunities come up to promote TH.

- Meeting Razzle and having her squish me XD I knew her before I heard of the street team and it was a bit of a 'OMG' moment when I found out she was a mod here.

-Me, Nikki and Kels ruling the forum for a while when I first started posting XD Or at least ruling one of the threads.

- Romana spazzing out cause she thought I was gay and I wasn't XD Then spazzing over me and Nin going out.

- Meeting everyone here. You guys are a hundred kinds of awesome!

-Same with Anne, meeting everyone at the MU only to get along with them fine even though we only knew each other over the internet.

-Having EVERYONE recognise me at the MU, and me not being able to recognise anyone else XD (Except for Nin, Anne, Becky and Aerrow)

+Finding out the MU was actually in London. Stupid me thinking it was being held in Liverpool for April!

+Being pretty shy. (Maybe unbelievable now?)
+Finding out the MU was going ahead.
+Helping out to think of ideas and such.
+Meeting someone who loves to sleep, Kels.
+Meeting everyone on this forum!
+Us being filmed for THTV, such an exciting moment!
(Now I kinda' wish that didn't happen cause I looked so bad!)
+Actually meeting you lot in person! ;D

It was sad having to leave the MU. I didn't want to leave!

These are just the obvious. I need to think outside the box.
I know theres at least one million amazing things that have happened off this forum, even from the 2 and a bit months I have been posting here.

Ok, so I haven't been on here that long, hell I MISSED THE FLAMING CONCERT. -slaps forhead-

-I heard of Tokio Hotel quite a while ago, about a year ish?.. but only recently got seriously into the whole "OMG BILL TOM MMMMMM MUST SEE THEM" type obsessive thing XD
-I too suffered the pain of lonliness [can anyone hear the violins? LOL] and being told to "Stfu about that stupid band" by my mates, endlessly being told they were all women and i was insane.
-Theeeen, i found the myspace [can't remember how...] and i felt all happy inside XD!
-Realised i'd missed the MU AND CONCERT. Talk about gutted.
-I started trying to talk to peoples and slowly nuzzling my way into conversations [love that word, nuzzzzle XD] attempting to not be too weird and being amazed at how nice people were and just generally funny as hell.
-And of course the MU. I couldn't believe how much fun i had. I was all nervous and thinking how it might be really awkward etcetc and it was just amazing. Meeting everyone from the forum and just spending the day eating/getting weird looks/totally laughing our heads off -le sigh- when we meeting up again?!! XD


And now i looove this place.
It keeps my TH spirit alive. ^_^ I came back from the meet up like a puppy on speed XD All bouncy and happy.
