Essential reading: Forum Rules

Some rules, short and sweet.

* Be polite - always be courteous to your fellow TH fan.
* Do not spam - spam includes asking TH to come to your country over and over. The boys will not read it, they do not decide their schedule, you are wasing time and energy.
* Please use English only.
* Ensure posts are placed in the correct area.
* Do not post the personal contact details of the band. Please also do NOT post fake msn/skype/email/myspace profiles of the band. Unless it comes from an official source, it is fake. Please remember this.
* Do not post fan fiction and use common sense - no explicit art will be tolerated here.

New rule as of 16th August 2008:

Re Signatures

Thanks everyone! Hopefully this will reduce the amount of pressure on other people's connections and make the forum easy for everyone to read.

Of course, make sure you post your gifs in the GIF thread in the pictures forum. We love the gifs (those that can handle them!)

• Any pictures of Tokio Hotel, whether they are depicted in so called 'private' situations or not, that are printed in the media, such as Bravo, or online news outlets like Bild, CAN be posted here. This includes pictures of Tom's 'date' with Chantelle and pictures of the twins on holiday.

That's what we like to hear. ;D We try not to be too strict and in general it works really well because everybody is so lovely. Just a few rules have proved to be necessary in the past.

Also I just noticed that the signature rules weren't mentioned in the start post (only in its separate thread) so I've just added them to have it all in one place.

I think that should make it easier for Forum Freunde, so that we don't have to send two threads to new members to inform them of the rules- it's all compact
