there is only one song by JB's that i like
and thats simply because its a disney cover ( I wan'na be like you ;D )
but they would totally spoil TH's rep.
imagine TH on disney channel!

Oh well I like the Jonas Brothers.
Even if you guys think its a bad idea, it could help TH to come to the UK cos JB are getting loads of publicity over here and I reckon soon there gonna be pretty big, so surely they will come here on the tour.

I absolutely despise that whole idea of the two bands touring together! That surely has to be one of the worst ideas ever. I listened to the JBs a while back and was completely underwhelmed. I don't even think they are good singers. No offense to anyone who likes them. I think they are nice guys and all but their music just doesn't do anything for me. The two bands just do not go together. I don't get it! Sure it would be great exposure for TH but it would go in the wrong direction. They are not very likely to be taken as a "serious rock band" if they tour with the JB. Again, no offense, I know this all sounds awful but I'm sure you get my point. It's not that I think TH would be better than that and to put down JB or their fans, it's just that I find it went quite good for TH in the US/Canada so far and if things keep going like that they don't need to be pushed in the Disney direction to achieve great things. It would do nothing good for them, I think. Yeah, maybe faster sucess but for how long? Bad idea, just plain bad. Nein, nein, nein is all I can say (or should I say scream?) on the matter. Please let that only be some bad rumour. 
(Btw, I love Disney films!!! Just not very keen on the recent musicians/musical films etc)

i generally like the whole idea of support bands! it's a good way for a band/singer to play infront of more people and get more fans and i like watching 1 or 2 bands play half hour sets before the main act but the bands also have to "go well together" - not necessarily have similar sounds but they have to be able to entertain the same audiance
so even if the Jonas Brothers really like TH and they seem to be quite nice guys, i'd hope this will never happen
sure the JB have a pretty big fairly young audience (although TH have younger fans to, just not as many maybe) but i think it would be wrong to think they dont have fans in their late teens and fans who like TH as well so even if the management people find some common ground there, i still don't see it as a good move in the right direction for TH, i just can't! but then again i can't think of any bands i could see TH opening for =]
IF there are talks of them touring together, i hope someone gives it some serious thought

Omg Kiri, I second what you say, you seem to have said everything that I wanted to say but just couldn't put it into words!
I mean, didn't TH say they were a single band at one point and they will do things on their own?
That they won't take songs from other singers and they will stay by themselves and won't interact with other bands?
That they wanted to suceed on their own!
I really hope this doesn't happen, because, I think they will possibly go downhill from there on.

1) Takes away Th's image and make them even more into "teenie-boppers" - the press will have a field-day.
2) TH being a support band?! Come on, that'll wreck their rep.. "The band that fills arenas in Europe can't even fill a club in the US without their JB friends" etc.
3)**** **** **** ***** yup.. that about summarises it!
4)Why don't we all just tune in to Hannah Montana?!
I thought the JB's were touring with Avril atm anyway... AVRIL and TH?!?!?!?!?
