Getting Tokio Hotel Featured On Youtube?

ahkay my people...
i came up with this idea out of nowhere in the middle of taking a shower, errr dont ask about why it was the shower cos even i dont even know, but i think that the idea is actually pretty muchly good.....
the idea was to get a tokio hotel video featured on YouTube? for a fact when YouTube features a video it get thousands of plays... and if we are succesful at getting a TH song featured then that could mean tons more potential fans...??

-> And here is a thing that i found on YouTube FAQ in whichh it explains how to get a video featured:

so erm i think we could go about doing it by uploading a song video and then getting people to rate it in the masses as much as we can in that week...?? so it has to get record ratings...!! like getting anyone and everyone to rate it! and we tell people about rating it via various TH fan sites etc...
OR a petition to get it featured? but i doubt this would work...

so what do you guys think?
erm iv come to realise just now its a pretty floppy plan but still i wanna hear what you guys think, cos maybe its not as bad??

That is a great idea ;]

But the thing is that you cannot upload official videos on YouTube because of all the copyright stuff.

We can rate an already existing one though. Just have to pick exactly which one. :]

Hey guys,

TH people already try to do this, which is why TH TV exists. I believe a video of TH TV was featured once before.

The best thing to do is every Thursday, visit the TH channel, watch TH TV, pass the link around, rate it and comment. This gets TH a lot of views and you'll be working with other people in the TH community to get the video featured. Then you can email youtube and ask them to feature it.

but tbh THtv doesnt do much to bring in new fans even when it is featured, cos tbh a backstage video of band wouldnt really show people the real side of TH (like the actual songs) and nobody really cares to see some backstage thing about some random band tbh... its much more likely that we would bring in more fans if they actually saw a whole song...??
hrm well anyweez... *wanders back to drawing board...*

oh and how funny!! today i was on youtube, and you know that bit 'Videos Being Wtched Right Now' and i was just sitting there and i saw a video with this guys face on it who had manga hair and heavy eyeliner and i was like 'omg i swear i know that guy!!' and then by the time i had gone to the next page i was like 'OMF THAT WAS BILL!'. LOL!

But yh anyways thanks claire, i guess we shall have to think up another geniiusness again ]=
i will go and spend some more time in the shower today =D

i dont know if that could work?maybe we could ask them to delete and re-add a video?
