On a very random and off-topic note (since you mentioned it, Becky, I can't resist... ): "Putzi" was also the one and only children's toothpaste available in the GDR, produced in Dresden (Saxony) it had its 50th anniversary last year and is one of the GDR-products that "survived" the German Reunification and is still going strong. The name refers to "Zähne putzen" (to brush teeth).
