Liz just reminded me that we do not have a thread to discuss films!  Gosh, how could we not have?! I love to watch films, I particularily love to go to the cinema. I used to watch at least 4 films a month in the cinema. That was before I got involved in the Street Team.  Since September I've only been to the cinema once.  Going to the cinema is pretty much the only thing I enjoy to go out for on a "regular" basis. (Ok, I also haven't been to the cinema that often lately because my local Odeon shut down more than a year ago and my one and only friend I used to go to watch films with moved away last August.)
Feel free to discuss films you either love(d) or didn't enjoy, you've just seen or would like to see on here. But please, pay mind to spoilers etc! ;D
Liz mentioned she watched 10,000 BC. How was it?
Has anybody seen Jumper yet? I'd really like to go and see it but yeah, my working hours don't leave much room for cinema and also I always have to take the bus, so it's a bit of effort and I haven't gotten around to it yet (especially not with the weather we've had those past days).

but i think im going next tuesday
to see meet the spartans
i think thats what it's called
smthng with the word 'spartans' in it
apparently, it's a mix of 'meet the fockers' and '300'
if i remember rightly?
and then this friday, im off to adams house to watch...
both my TH DVD's
his Hilary Duff one..
only because SHE MENTIONS TOKIO HOTEL IN IT !!!!![/i][/u]
and i think we're watching 'the ring' too
i hope it isnt too scary
im a PROPER wuss and dont like scary films
has anyone seen it and is able to rate it 1 - 10 on scaryness?

Adam said that she says something like..
she adores Beyoncé because of her vocal range
and then she says that she admires Tokio Hotel
because theyve shown that anything is possible
or something like that
we shall find out on friday ;D

Good thread!! I love films too! 10 000 BC was a bit lame to be honest, but I did kinda enjoy it. Once I`d managed to get out of the `critics` chair anyway LOL. Af first I was just " oh come on ... " These guys had Hollywood teeth ffs.  But it was ok, and I did watch it to the end. One of the best films I`ve ever seen has to Apocalypto. It`s just awesome. I watched it at the cinema 9 times LOL. I haven`t see Jumper yet, but I wanna. a friend tells me it`s really good. |

I haven't seen any films in ages XD I stick to the old ones, mostly horror movies.
Anyone like Donnie Darko? I completely love it!

The fast an the furious tokyo drift. need I say any more? my brother and i are watching is making me watch all 3 Fast and Furious movies cos we got nothing else to do!lol we're on #2 right now! =]] i love horror movies the original japanese the Ring and the Grudge are way creepier than the american remakes anyone seen Battle Royal 1 and 2? ...gory Susi remember when we were talking about "Jumper" and i told you i wanted to see it? yeah! i still havent seen it!lol havent been to the cinema in ages! i think the last movie i went to see was" I am legend" |

I'm not one for films but here's all the ones I've seen... well, all the ones I can remember seeing anywayz!!
I'm usually one for romcom/chick flicks like Mean Girls and Freaky Friday and films like that but I LOVE Sweeney Todd. The gore is beautifully exaggerated and it's just pure entertainment. I'm a mini-Harry Potter fan, and I was once hooked on Lord Of The Rings and there's a smutty innuendo in Fellowship, have I ever told you about it? I watched Brokeback Mountain once... very niiiice. The gay cowboys... rawr. I've seen Hot Fuzz and it's so funny! I watched This Is England for Media Studies, and last week (the 13th) I watched Alpha Dog, again for Media Studies. There's also been extracts from Austin Powers and I Robot that I've had to analyse and stuff. I've seen Epic Movie and that made me laugh so hard... speaking of which, I prefer the original of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because Willy Wonka is a nicer person in that one, but some people may prefer the Tim Burton version. I know someone who does. And speaking of Tim Burton, I love The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands! There's other films I remember seeing sa a kid but I cannot remember which ones they are. I'll let you know if I remember.
