Yeah, for me it comes down to whether there's a musical compatibility. I like AFI, so I thought it was kind of cool that they did a remix, but I wouldn't want to see the band record with someone totally different just to try to break into the charts.

i love that fact that TH are german and that i can now burst into random german song in the middle of english but if they become americanised i highly doubt i would love them as much as i do now..

Umm well truthfully I like Timbalands stuff and Nicole Scherzingers, just I don't know if it would suit Tokio Hotels music.
It depends on what song they use, because if they remixed something like: Don't Jump, Forgotten Children or something else that is already really good - they are just my personal favourites then I wouldn't like it!
Also some of the Chipmunk versions or remixed ones that are already out there are really good, some are just terrible... but of course none can compare to Tokio Hotel's originals.
I would hate for them to become Americanised, because they are so successful because they are German and they are a very strong German band at that! That is what most people love about them, they don't like talking in English much but if they went to America then they would have to speak it a heck of a lot more.
So let's just hope that it doesn't work out like that!

I love Timbalands collabs tbh, but then again I have a very wide and weird taste in music lolz XD
If they did something it would be quite cool.......but then again I also agree there's like this huuuuge dark cloud with the label "AMERICAAAANISED" looming over them atm...It makes me worried.
They've bigged up the US so much lately and are going back there straight after the tour so....yeah...
-feels little and insignificant-
We're not being forgotten damnit! ;_;

Well lets keep praying that we aren't being forgotten!
And I think it would be cool if they done a song together, like a new one that isn't already fabulous!
I also have a weird range of taste in music =D

It would be awful, it was bad enough that timberland or whatever he is, got his grubby mitts on Björk's 'Volta' but argh! I would truely cry...well probably sob Please don't get me wrong I'm all for collabrations but other artists 'producing' other bands albums just wrecks them
Or remixes Jay-z and Linkin Park...I had some sort of respect for them before that, but how could you let someone trash your own songs that badly

I love Timbaland and everyone. I think a collaboration would sound awesome, but I wouldn't be happy about it. Tokio Hotel jsut wouldn't be Tokio Hotel anymore. They would pretty much not be German anymore, they would be American *sobs*

I wouldn't mind Timbaland working with Tokio Hotel. Becuase he's a good producer, I like his song with The Hives particularly. I think it's well good. But to Americanise a German band is out of order. We want them to be incredible becuase they're German in America, not because they've been Americanised like Leona Lewis and Natasha Bedingfield. But Jay-Z with TH... no. I don't like his work with Linkin Park. OK, I've onyl heard the one sogn but even so, it's not that great tbh. I hate Amreican hip-hop, I prefer German hip-hop and surely that's telling people something? They should stick to their German roots and work with Bushido or summat!
