Hi guys,
as you will probably have seen (and voted for) in the other thread we have our meet up date!
The 2012 meet up will be on 1st September in London[/b]. We will provide you with location info and directions nearer the time but for now let's get started with the planning.
We always wanted to do another DVD watching but due to lack of funds we decided to go for a more low-key meet up this time. Also because we haven't had a meet up in quite some time so we want to use this one to get an idea of how many UK fans are actually still interested in doing meet ups and will turn up for this one.
It's very important that you guys help spreading the word about this to as many of your fellow UK fans as possible. So link the forum and talk about it when- and wherever you can. Not only now but right up until September.^^
This thread is a first step to collect ideas and also to see who would be willing to assist as volunteers. Not only because most of us admins work very busy full time jobs with late hours but mainly because we want you to get involved in this meet up as much as possible because it's all about you. It's a meet up for you guys so you should have your say and we hope that you'll contribute.
Some things we already know:
* it'll be a picnic (all fingers and toes crossed for good weather!)
* we want to play some games
* get to know each other
* have fun
* there will be some prizes to win for you guys
What we need:
* Ideas! What would you like to do? Any activities or games in particular you would like to do/play?
* Volunteers! People who would like to help/take charge of organising and preparing games/activities
* A birthday video for the twins and Gustav (who has his bday on 8th September)
Since this is a good opportunity for some of us UK fans to be together it would be nice to also make a video with a birthday message for the guys, don't you think? We don't get many of those opportunities so we should make the most of it.
It would be super if there was somebody who knows about video stuff and would like to take charge of this. Any volunteers?
