Vote for Tokio hotel in the NME shockwave awards. It would be nice if Tokio hotel got a nomination . Here's the link www.nme.com/awardsvote vote for Tokio hotel in stuff like best band/ best international band/ and any other appropriate title

I already voted for them even though it's rather pointless with NME because they don't like TH whatsoever and probably would just tell us off again before nominating them for anything else than in one of the "worst" categories like last year. I dislike this magazine so much. They're more likely to just use TH again to stir up some (international) attention for their mag and the awards. *LOL* Personally, I'd rather TH didn't get any nomination than one of the "worst" again only for NME to use them and play their fans along.
Nevertheless I went through the nomination process and categories once just for the sake of it.

Totally, totally agree with you. But I know that a few magazines/ radio stations, seem to do something similar (or just ignore you, if you try and contact them). I think ATM I'm trying to work out where Tokio hotel fit in, in the uk media and I still have no clue. But I'm guessing there is someone who will be willing to accept them and maybe even involve them a little more, right? I know trying NME is a bit far fetched, and stuff, but....

Even media etc seem to struggle working out where TH fit in, so fair enough.
And NME: as far as I'm concerned if us trying to nominate TH, them seeing their name pop up and it maybe making only one of their staff groan or facepalm... I wouldn't mind at all. Their nasty comment towards THUKST in 2008 was totally uncalled for.

Yup Well you were right I guess. But they've done worse Tokio hotel are now up for a worst band nomination... Again. But I don't believe that many people nominated them for that. :/ everything I voted for are up there quite easily, yet TH aren't and they have a worst band Nom www.nme.com/news/arcade-fire/54667 it doesn't make sense...

So predictable! *pfft* Typical NME. I read about the Worst Band nomination in Viva Teletext here in Germany yesterday. So looks like NME is doing just fine with getting publicity out of it accross UK borders again. Only difference is that JoBros don't seem to be as "present" as they were that time last year so TH might actually win it this year. Let's wait for nearer the end of the voting to see if NME will also make another post to get TH fans to vote for somebody else in that category so that their "darlings" don't win this category.
