Tokio Hotel UK Promotion ideas!

after exams in june/july I'll be going into Blackpool with posters and all sorts to stick around town
I've done it before with elliot minor and it was super fun :']
I also sent a request to this site:

it's a german learning website and I sent a request to have Tokio Hotel featured on the music map and on the site ^^
I'm also in the middle of writing a letter which I'm going to send to multiple magazines ^^

midori, thanks so much for all the threads and things it's given me some pretty cool ideas !

Me and imojeeen are going to make videos documenting everything we've done so that people can get some ideas from them ;D and we're also going to do videos of us that has something to do with TH and spread them around on fb and things for our friends to see
We've also sent letters to magazines too So maybe they'll get the point soon enough!

I'm thinking of going downtown and sticking postit-notes everywhere saying 'Tokio Hotel - Google/youtube it.'
Is that good ?

That's a good idea for things to put on a post it ! I'm trying to think up something simple yet good I can write on like...100+ post-its to put everywhere! hahaha ;D

I'll get three of my friends, Take them downtown, each have a pack of postits with Things on it, Like 'Listen 2 Tokio Hotel.' and 'Google tokio hotel'

OK, this one's a bit of a biggie, but here goes nothing -

What about the idea of a charity show?

All the UK fans would get together to raise money for a charity (Maybe one TH have themselves been involved in? Wasn't there a German one for children? If all else fails, the NSPCC or some high profile charity often goes down well. XD) And how are they raising the money? Why, by throwing a tribute show to Tokio Hotel, of course!! A night of cover songs and performances (dramatic monologues of the meaning behind World Behind My Wall, a short skit about what really inspired Bill to write Reden etc etc) all done by the lovely and devoted fans!

Obviously, getting local newspapers and the media involved would help with the profiling - shout-outs on the radio and all that jazz - which would get the band some coverage in the UK without them ever having to lift a finger AND there'd be the added bonus of their name being asscioated with the positive of helping a charity.

Woo, don't think small, eh? XD

Or handing out flyers and continually pesting the radio stations to play their songs are good ones too!! XD XD

I have three/four friends (some of them don't even know TH) that would LOVE to come and

The only thing I'm worried about it getting a fine for littering, or getting barred or something =L

Iit will be classed as vandalism,

Ok, How do I ask a shop If I can put posters in their shop ?
Will I have to pay ?

I agree that is a really good idea! But it'd be so hard to organize
And yeah it is like vandalism but I've got some pretty sly ways of how to get post-its stuck everywhere

I'll help organise it, I mean it might cost abit to hire somewhere etc
it'd have to be summer though for me :/ with college and everything
it'd be tricky to organise but I'm totally up for it
